he didnt go out on the pitch or anything.I didnt know he was there until i read it just now! I think the fans shwed great appreciation to Puncheon for making the effort. It was a tremendous thng to risk injuring himself pre a cup final. i know nobody tackled but if he had got injured that would have been terrible

really glad we made the effort to go. Great entertainment and good to show former players appreciation. As others have said young Davis really helped make the night. His dad did his best not to let him score, lol. The second penalty soared in. The young players came on in the second half. Reed looked useful as well as McCarthy but Gardos and the other young centre half looked very tentative. Gallagher sadly looked totally lost. Great night but again as others have said you couldnt hear a thing in the Kingsland. The Northern were amusing although the 10th song about Puncheon being in the loo was just pushing the joke a bit far. Getting sacked in the morning to Adkins was funny and he took it well.

He only wants them to spend big so that he can come on here to brag about it lol.

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?
OldNick replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
Sissoko if you could get him to become a team man. He seems to only want to play when it suits. He played to his potential against Spurs, but I suspect that was only to gain attention to get a move. Wijnaldum for his goals but again needs work on his defending The rest are in relegated teams as they aint that good. -
not a mention yet on Sky sport, surely it should be the main news that the biggest club with bestest fans would be Breaking News

are we to do a minutes applause at 92 minutes at the next game

I thought this government had raised the minimum wage, this protects the lower paid surely? Apparently it has made Britain even more desirable to come to. I believe it is better to stay in ( I absolutely detest the European Parliament and the burn rats there) but it seems common sense to stay. if we left I expect that the following ten years would be pretty dire as we try and untangle everything,

[quote=Golden Balls;2337036 As we've believed for a while, he needs to be convinced of the ambition. Les has a big job on there. Well let's hope that they have kissed and made up their big fall out. IMO RK like Mopo wants to see if we are going to dismantle the squad again , leaving him to have to find gems to replace them or build from strength. I expect he will be ok if we sell 1 of the major players and allow the fringe ones to go but if 2or 3 leave then he may be off. of course if a major club turned up ( I doubt Everton fot that in his mind) he will go. Although Everton do have a record of holding on to players and don't have a for sale board on the dressing room door

it is just like a cup match at our place, they often move fans for the away section.

I do not know what powers the mayor of London has can somebody please let me know what his powers are? In threoy could he order that a muslim flag is flown over public buildings? Could this be a creep of a different culture changing the law to suit the minority rather than the nations indentity. I seriously dont know and am not trying to stir things -
Pompey wouldnt sell 52000 season tickets of they got the Olympic stadium....it would be 252,000.
-
you think they would have met somewhere secret like the Tottenham training ground lol
-
Half their team wouldn't get into our first 11

to be fair 2 of those have spent the last few years scoffing at any posters thinking we could ever make the CL places let alone ML's dream of winning the title. They can only throw childish abuse. Pretty sad that they feel that they can only win a debate by getting personal. i suspect they have many characteristics that we all could be pretty nasty about if we saw their pretty little faces. Im happy for them to take the mickey but dont get personal it is not right
-
lol, 50 yards from goal and 8 Saints players behind the ball, if you are going to point out every stray pass 50-60 yards from goal !!!!
-
it was a fantastic result but Spurs were not at the races today. I like to think that it was us who caused it,not their disappointment from the other night
-
I don't he did mean that, I took it that he'd be here for 2 more years. That would be a fantastic result as it at least gives the club time to how ambition for him to stay longer
-
When he reffed the Leicester West Ham game it was said he was a Spurs fan!!
-
Why is john Moss who is a Spurs fan refereeing this game?
-
well at least you kept your vomit down!!! watching Mcmanaman and co is galling at best. Why the TV programmes is full of Liverpool fans amazes me. I suppose it saves having marches, enquiries and minutes silences in protests
-
It doesnt matter whether it is 8th or 9th, it was talked upon as some type of magical achievement. The fact is that Leicester did what posters on here scoffed at when they said we could achieve CL.
-
lol this from the poster who thinks its a tremendous achievement coming 9th. Someone who scorned all the posters (not me as I doubted it as well) who said we could make the PL , a dream that ML and NC said we could achieve.
-
who do you think is going to sign for us, Messi? Our clubs philosophy is to find unpolished diamonds and make them shine. Players will join as we are top half PL and know if they do well we will sell them to a better club. Howe also finds players from the lower English leagues something that needs tapping. IMO Howe would be a great choice
