  1. Bournemouths directors were very well looked after by NC and the club, Im very pleased to report
  2. you really are desperate to try and have an argument. Look sonny you have been beaten by 2 goals to nil twice this season. You can go on and on and on about ref's decisions but if you like lets call it 2-1 and you got your penalty. Forget how Puncheon was thru on goal and the ref called it back and had he scored you would have collapsed as we were all over you. Your manager unbelievably took off your best midfielder Lol. Smith should have been sent off for his first tackle (it was a cowerds tackle, it was in front off me and you could see he only had one intent.I will say that Chaplows was not good either) Ps I really am in the know at your club as one of your top men is a long time friend, they were treated very respectfully by NC and were happy.
  3. from what I saw of him he was a decent player who has a wining mentality. He played for their biggest rivals and so perhaps it was the Fuller effect, a very good player who was never given a fair chance by the fanbase to settle in.
  4. with a certain affinity to our lesser neighbours it was always going to get a better gate. I know about our arrogance but this is the first time in 40 years i have gone to watch B'mouth and they are above us in a league. Therefore in those 40+years it is human natue to look down on them. Im sure if they played Weymouth their fans would look down on them in the same way.I can't take them seriously and when a friend tried to wind it up last night I said, you may win, but i know that in 5 years time we will be in a better position than you again and when the manager is gone they will plummet back down again. They are so desperate for us to become real rivals, and im sure we will get lots of posturing today. i hope we can rise above it
  5. Nature will find a way of bringing the worlds population down. Anti biotics are near to the end of their worth, a friend worked in the pharmaceutical industry and they are pretty concerned that a virus could really take a massive toll
  6. why? i think it is a very fair assumption. I have been to games and some fans confused Mills for BWP. Do you not recall the amount of times people in the directors box were supposdly David Dein etc and it turned out it was joe Bolggs. The fans on here who in the main are politicised or very up on things saints would kno who he was but most dont give 2 hoots
  7. sounds very plausible
  8. I really do thin kit was unfortunate timing and not against Cortese, the fans were in party mood and a Mexican wave was stopped and it happened when it got to NC. I suspect there may have been some who booed but you get all sorts in life. It doesn't matter anyway as peoples minds are set.
  9. If you asked fans to point out who Cortese was most would not be able to do so.
  10. PES you have had a real personality change, time for you to jog off until you get your old self back. Go and support your charity and kid robbers Our natural rivals, who are yours Waterlooville then, i dont see you smashing up your own town after you lose to them Lol Bournemouth are in a different county, and have never before been in living memory close to be better than us. The same could not be said about your club re-garding Bournemouth
  11. All fair but we dont know what ML will has stated. All fantasy and missing the point no doubt but the club is not as it was 12 months ago and there must be reasons for that
  12. well IMO I think it is. Most of the fans didn't know the songs let alone who the chairman is FFS
  13. hey whats the witch hunt on Steve about all of a sudden. We all make assumptions and claims but dont get this stuff
  14. Im sure you are right but you've lost me
  15. The model was always going to be one of living off your own means. hence every penny is being screwed from wherever it can be. ML set the club debt free, and gave it a small injection of funds to get it running ( I assume, no facts to back that up)from then on there was a rush to get us up the leagues. AP's failure to do so first season would have been a major disappointment IMo but the revenue flowed in. The untimely death of ML has really thrown a spanner in the works, and our comfort blanket has been removed. Even if the family do have an interest ,almost certainly probate has put a stop to any new funds and to be fair their eyes will be on funding their core businesses not ML plaything. NC is being unfairly targeted by restless and IMO thoughtless fans who cannot understand why we are not splashing the cash. I am not above criticism in that, as I call for new front men etc. If the Liebherr family indeed are not fussed about us, I suggest NC would be the first person they will offer us to, you never know that may have been ML's dying wish.
  16. he was the front of the Pinnacle group. Unfortunately it turned out to be the Panic-le group the moment it came to putting up the money. Iam divided about him, Imsure he did it for the best intentions but whether he was ever in a position to actually move I dont know.
  17. LeGod I for 1 am not trying to decry what AP did but point out the unfair comparison that was put forward about results. IMO the squad is not as strong as last season and I dont think anyone can say the squad without Antonio and Papa is as good. Well done AP another nearly man
  18. I assume that Tony Lynhams post means that there is a possibility that NC may take the club over. I do wonder if the siblings of ML are at all interested, after-all we don't all follow our parents interests.
  19. I thought it was second half, when we had won the game and the waves had started and the cameras panned on NC ML etc
  20. he is one of the few ex player loans who came back and was given a good reception by the fans. He even came back and did a lap of honour with, the team on the last day of a season. Again not pacey but a willing worker for the team. Quite happy with that one. Not sure how he will fit in with Guly if he is going to be in centre midfield though
  21. but you are wrong about the boos at the JPT , they were done to fans not carrying on a Mexican wave. The majority of fans that day would not know who Cortese was
  22. Steve on this occasion I can't agree. The instant dismissal seems to me an instant disnmissal. I agree that AP may have been under pressure but I think NC had no choice to act as something must have happened that day.
  23. because they want their time in the sun and it doesn't come out very often for them

    Guly

I saw Guly for the first time on tuesday and when he was put in central midfield he looked a very decent player. Very Vierra like in his running and aggresion.Obviously not likely to be as good but he will become a real top player for us if he adapts to the new climate and club. When he scored he did not run to the fans but to Fonte. I hope he fits in, if he does we have a new hero for the future
