AL is good footballer and is important to our team, but he is not of PL quality, his lack of pace for one thing is a major drawback. If he leaves then so be it, i only hope the club can get a decent fee to replace him.I watched Swndon v Bristol Rovers last night and Rovers had a tricky player in Al's mould I think his name was Hoskins.

No they weren't free, 60 quid a pop and the wife got 6 of them. So it cost me 360 plus taxi 170 plus plus plus. Im a mug and i dodnt realy want to go and watch him.I don't get music concerts. I'd rather buy the cd. Only ever been to see Madonna ,Who's that girl tour, Simply Red BIC (a lot of the audience went into the foyer to listen as he was so uninspiring). I'd rather go and see a comedian..but even they end up singing FFS Jethro and Freddie Starr Lol

You do!!!!! He's a good lad, likes a bit of banter and so i doubt he has been offended. Holiday perhaps??

I saw him a SMS Bournemouth game
-
Saints have kicked to the Chapel 2nd half for most games played at SMS. Our home form has been poor to say the least over the seasons. I believe that the visitors kicking to their own fans give them a lift in the 2nd half and is a time when we need the advantages.
-
there has to be a reason to sell tickets for a game 3-4months away. Especially as it is their biggest match of the season and so it was always going to sell out. As i said earlier they even have lost the opportunity to make fans buy tickets for other home games to tie to it. Something doesn't add up and you are propbably on the nail with rent etc
-
My wife has gone instead of me due to business commitments, she fell asleep and missed the goal Lol. I wish the Northam would not make so much noise when we score it wakes her up. Kicking to the Chapel first half apparently, that's more like it.Kick to the northam second half.

i was hoping that there would be thousands of MILFS for me to peruse. Unfortunately it was 60% women , mainly MIW'ntLTF and their husbands, not one dolly bird all night. He did not bring anyone on stage but he went into the crowd and walked through to a stage on the middle of the arena (Wembley arena) I did go to a Jethro night in Bournemouth oncet expecting him to tell jokes but most of the night he sung! and at the start his male warm up act came back on and they sung a love song to each others eyes. They had matching rings on as well!!! Some of my friends said he had a fantastic voice, but I said I went to listen to jokes not a karaoke night!

Gold also offered to give them a loan when they were in the PL. That was self interest of course as if Pompey went out of existance WHU were in danger of being relegated.

The sub-prime was obviously a major factor but had Blair Brown not moved the BOE's policing of the banks , ours would not have been able to get involved.Whether Osbourne would have been better who can tell?
-
Of course we may not have had a recession if Brown had done the job properly in the first place. Brown gave us quatative easing. It is still not certain whether that will help or hinder. GO may have done the same or tried something else it is only opinion and until I have seen GO's work for a while will I be able to come to your conclusion or not.
-
Geneva, how can you say Brown was good? He oversaw all that went on, he was the credit card chancellor and PM. His rush to pay for public projects meant he needed to find money from somewhere. He got on the treadmill and could not jump off as he needed more and more revenue. Blair was the clever one as he helped build the debt but jumped off before the sh## hit the fan.Brown was so keen to be PM he took his eye off the ball and has been left to hold the baby. Brown inherited the golden economy and it has turned to sand. I hate the state our country is in, but i shouted into the wind when i was trying to point out why this could not last. We all (the prudent ones especially ) are left to pick up the pieces.

If I was a billionaire and the majority of my money was covered it would be worth a gamble. The CCC is the weakest it has been for some years and so a well equipped side could easily go up.QPR are doing very well with an average team. Get back to the PL and then Pompey would be saleable for a decent price. As for Chanrai being scum I think you should really think about it. he is the only reason your club is still around. Had he not given a loan foolishly he would not be near the club and you would have gone at the first court hearing.

Liverpool (possibly) could face 9 point deduction?
OldNick replied to do i not like fizzy pop's topic in The Saints
i listened to a Liverpool fan, and he said he hoped they would go into admin. Not a thoguht for the poor souls who would lose their money (it wouldnt be Gillette and Hicks) . I assume these fans have watched Pomepy and think you keep all your players, and even strengthen and carry on as before. I would think there is absolutely no chance of Liverpool going intio admin -

because there are less clubs and less games hence the 1pt less deduction -
trouble is all football fans are not hooligans and we would be upset if all were tagged that way. The labour government are delighted we blame the bankers, afterall it was them who deregulated the day after they came to power and left the FSA to police it. It was like taking candy from a kid

Betty Boop would be closer

When I gave you that deep rub down pre-match, half-time and after the Forum match you didn't ask me then if i frequented that establishment. it was Wembley Arena ....so there

I agree about Gold etc, they can see the Olympic stadium as a pot of gold. Your second point is well of the mark. There is no doubt that the debt was in the region of 130m but what people have seen is that AA inflated the football creditors share so that he could get a positive vote on the CVA. I suspect if it ever was to be voted on again the result may be different as many of the creditors may be pretty upset how it is panning out. When i saw you had posted I had assumed that the FPPT had been passed and you had come on to gloat.I was wrong, and i wonder whether you believe Chanrai will indeed take over? I myself am surprised he has not done so and gone for the PL again, he has little to lose and loads to gain in comparison IMo

went and watched him the other night, a good entertainer with a great personality. He was very good. He started by saying that he was not gay and would come out and say if he really was. Have there been rumours in the press about this?
