  1. Alps i did not go to the game and so refrain from giving opinions on the performance. From the reports from my family members and fans from on here who went said that, we should have scored 2-3 goals before we did. orient scored form their only chance in the first half (de ja vu Plymouth game) we were not as good after they equalised but still should have won if not for some good goalkeeping. I alos am frustrated that we have not won as yet, but I hope the club do as we both wish and sign some quality then we will sonn be up and running. The concensus is that we need to improve pace on the wings, a back up of a big centre forward and a midfielder. If we get those then it will be good. As at least another has said , it is better to start slowly and have a good end to the season as we have all seen the early pacesetters drift away. it will lessen the pressure if we are not topo right from the start and will soften expectations.
  2. I cna't see why Wilson was rated so highly. He was absolute gash when he played against us in the Cup.Im surprised that anyone is prepared to pay 2m let alone 3m!!
  3. baj thats a lot of work you've created yourself but a good start.Top stuff
  4. I assume Granty etc have to make sure these things don't get out of hand, especially a subject like men hitting women.
  5. that would be quite difficult if you took her to court for assault, imagine beaten up by a woman from an orchestra!!! It just doesn't sit right does it, you'd never expect a woman from that field ever to be aggressive.
  6. Whether from Gates or not it is blimmin true
  7. hey Weston don't have a go at one of my Forum home team players, he's a star on the pitch
  8. Lol
  9. Lol Stu, wasn't it you who that was refraining to get a S/t as you had better things to do as the installment -plan had been withdrawn
  10. It must be great to be carefree and confident enough to go and see the world and then get back to life in your early 20's. I worry that this generation don't understand that there are millions upon millions of young people the world over looking to take these kids meals/jobs. The western world has to wake up or we will be the sweat shops for the world in the future.
  11. not likely to happen but I would do my utmost not to hit her but restrain her. Of course there would be extreme exceptions, but if it was a case of domestic violence (that in the main what we are talking about) then 100% no.
  12. the lowest of the low to punch a woman. Stu im sure this is made up and just one of your wind-ups
  13. well if the attendance figure is being used to equate how much respect is given to ML then it is not just about guessing how bums are on seats. The thrust was going on about how bad it was that fans were not turning up as Markus had sadly passed away. As i stated 20k is still a great attendance for L1 and should not be seen as a negative. There was never going to be a full house for Orient
  14. why is the attendance such an issue.? It is a L1 game against L1 opposition. To get crowds of 20k is marvellous and those of us moaning about fans not turning up in memory and thanks should look at themselves if they did not take time off work and make the effort to go to the memorial service. I didn't go, but ML will forever be in my thoughts, i don't need events at the ground to mark my respects and in a way it is an unfortunate distraction (the events)as ML would want us to hit the floor running, not risk falling behind because the players/fans minds are distracted.
  15. still 650k pw to run the club if he is right. If that includes his fees in that period as well I dont think it can add up, but without the info it is hard to tell
  16. A few of us were telling them about it even in the S4E days. Ho and co were spouting on how that the stadium and surrounds were worth fortunes as there was a queue of companied wishing to build hotels etc Lol. The NotW said they were over 100m in debt but PS came out and rubbished that and it went quiet. The talk that crouch was on 90k pw and so it was obvious the crowds/tv money could not sustain these costs.to think that gaydamek was going to bankroll the surplus was naive as well.
  17. don't be hard on yourself, an easy mistake to make
  18. of course i have, I have all state information fed to me.
  19. United Kingdom Uk was run in a similar way to PFC, unsustainable debt that is hidden and only at the resort will it come to light.
  20. Ho only comes on when he feels the clouds are moving away.
  21. the old yellow belly has returned. Not a peep during the dark days lol. I don't care how you dress it up the club you spout about have twice robbed small businesses. I still feel bad that saints did so, but to a degree they took the bank and so not quite like charities and schools. Pompey are tainted and you will still come on and tell world how wonderful it is seen but more and more neutrals are starting to see what your club is all about. On sunday i saw a WBA fan and he was very much against the way the club has conducted itself and cheated the tax payer. You dont care of that im sure but your 7 years will always be looked on as robbery.
  22. news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/.../2459167.stm - i can't be ar### to find these things normally BTF but on this occasion as it's you. If you don't think that self interest never is used in power then you are naive I also point to your wording in this sentence to underline that indeed you know that Blairs decision was to her gain. 'I'm sure loads of other Chambers benefited too - indeed the Mail article says as much.' other Chambers benifited TOO
  23. i read that link, but it was not relevant as it is not about the starting date., but how Blair was in power when legislation was passed that helped his wife. i think you should look up the dates of when we entered the EEC, decimal came in in 1971 and so we would have joined earlier than that
