I notice there also seems to be a emphasis on making the young players who come through the system 'more rounded' Perhaps we are hoping that they will be less likely to be in clubs drinking and staying out late, like so many of the footballers in the recent past.

Probably used to get the loans in!!
-
Is that a promise? I do hope you are right. Spurs having an off day put a spanner in the works.
-
That could well be correct

Not very bright I agree, but bright enough not to ever voted for Brown. A man who admits he made a mistake in not regulating the banks which has in turn cost us as a nation the biggest deficit of all of our competitors. Go back a couple of years and see how I and few of others were warning people the wheels were going to fall off. Not only Vince cable was warning about the economy...and I can say i was warning about it before he was. I notice you are taking the Pompey thread very seriously, lol has your prediction come to pass yet? Mine has been closest so far, as they are getting away with it.

How many are changing their vote from last time?

Oh it's the employers who are the baddies. lol I doubt not one of the employees ever took a sickie when they were not entitled to or spent the time on the web instead of working or texting etc etc etc -
That is fair comment, although i suspect a lot of people who would never have thought of vting for them may have changed their minds a bit this week

Some of the gold still had the assay marks from the Queen Anne period. it has been OUR wealth and heritage for hundreds of years and he sold it for peanuts and it is now in the vaults of the Chinese and Indians

I would never vote BNP , but there are many who would and many who have those views would also shy away from voting Liberal for the very reason Im pointing out. If somevbody points out the possibiltiy for debate doesn't mean they believe or think it
-
were you around the last time this happened?
-
lol , you go along thinking that politics is not cynical and all parties aren't thinking the best ways to promote their leaders and parties.
-
I would not be sad to see Labour pushed to third.Thsi will send tremors through both camps , especially number 10
-
politics are dirty and if you think that every angle is not thought of you are a bit naive. Go to American politics and see when they were doing their primaries Hilary Clinton was nowhere until she happened to brereak into tears, a cynical move in my opinion and she then got close to winning. Robin Cook used to lose Labour votes when he came on and so he was put into the shadows. It is not bigotted to understand that these things may make a difference to a small percentage of people. She may well be happy to be out of the limelight but she wont have a choice if the Liberals did ever come to power. I think the other 2 leaders wives are also working with kids BTW

Vantis have siad nothing. If the debt has been shown to be 40m more than they produced in thier SOA then they surely are in the mire. If AA pays back the agents for example their 8-9m then that would be suubject to vat being paid, therefore Pompey would then claim that back from HRMC and so the debt they owe to them would be less. Can you get my drift. thereofre if the football creditors are paid back 50m and that is subject to Vat then £8.75m vat would be paid out, so the liability the vat man has is reduced by that amount.Sohe is then not a 25% unsecured creditor I hope you can understand what im trying to get at.

Spanish is Euro zone so no political gain could be made from that apart from stealing British lawyers jobs Lol...go for it girl

Yep, my clients and business friends can't understand why we are not in freefall. It is a phoney war as present and only after the election will we see where we really are, although like Pompey we know there are massive debts but not sure where they are hidden. House prices have stayed strong (due to lack of supply) and consumers seem to be spending. It is all very complex but I still see massive problems for us around the corner

tHanks Bungle. Interesting how the debate has shifted the scene. My wife agreed that Clegg has come across twice this week as best, but whether he could be trusted when so little is known about him. He is the new kid and fresh, wait until he is on the ropes and then see if his hands are still in his pocket. He was flustered when DC pinned him about the funny money not being paid back , and he was out of his comfort zne. If another moment comes up like that then we will see. I have not seen him work well in PMQ's and so time will tell. Clegg is definately on a roll

No different to people having a go a Sarah Brown or Camerons wife. Do you agree some voters would shy away from Clegg as his wife is foreign, (is she East European she sounded like it)
-
They are lefties, they like putting up crazy faces and emotions. Modern day graffiti
-
He hasn't wheeled his wife out, Im not sure whether that is by choice but perhaps as she sounds as though she is not Britsih then he may worry that some would not be so keen on him. Personally it doesnt matter to me, but I do wonder if that may make a difference to a small percentage if they did hear her talking, and so she is given a back seat

Suppressing your real feeling again MB,

Thanks CS, So not 61% to Clegg!!! Must be a different poll.

thats what I thought. Watching David Gold this morning on tv looking so chuffed, it is good for the PL and good for the FL' he said. How can it be good for the FL? I assume if the PL clubs go straight back up the para payments atre then shared with the FL clubs. Still no consolation. Im waiting for Avram to come out and say 'no , it is wrong' as all he wants is a level playing field.

Yep it is Browns only chance of getting the keys to No 10 and so he will cuddle up. Whether the penny will drop with the electorate I dont know. One thing is certain in my mind is that a hung parliament is a disaster, we are going back to the early 1970's all over again and that sent us into freefall. The nation likes to p### about with all its class nonsense, but really we need people who create wealth to be rewarded (not bankers bonusses) not to feel 2nd class citizens. If i have a choice i want the best for my children and want the whole of society to be pulled upwards. Create a successful vibrant economy and you get more tax revenue, keep punishing the richest and they just move quietly away to foreign lands. I know of a few clients who have sold up and are moving elsewhere, their wealth is moving away whch in turn weakens the nation.
