No but the sense of having a kop end is a sensible one.The home fans get drowned out by the away fans and so home advantage is often lost.I have been calling for a long time for us to have a singing end like the Milton used to be.If we had an end solely with home fans who sing that would lift theteam.Too many times you see the opposition raise their game whne attacking their fans. The other night you could see Kuffor really up for it so he could go and celebratewith his fans . I t is galling and something the club needs to address. I agree that it would be an inconvienence to some already who sit quietly in the Chapel but we need something to rejuvinate the stadium and then perhaps having that fans would not think it does not have an atmosphere.it is just when we relocated it was not organised/thought out properly where the singing end should be.

Another thing that has been brushed under the caret and why Pompey will get away witrh it again IMO is that Richards the PL chairman(?) was caught by the Sun introducing the Dr to Pompey. So does he have a connection with the Thai mob? Ifr there is a chance of the establishment old boys network being caught up they will do anything to save their skins.

Perhaps it is part of NC's idea of moving the away fans.I think it would be great to have the fans who sing at one end like a kop.We do not have an intimidating end that away teams would hate to play to.If that is being addressed then it can only be a gtood thing long term.I have great respect for that corner but joined in with the Northam it would make a racking end for the team to attack too and perjhaps we may see more wins at home

the OS is there to generate business.If they come out and say we are doomed then the club shop is not going to take money and the ticket sales will go down.Accept the OS for what it is ,a propaganda machine. The players are asked questions and that is then edited to suit. strachan managed to sidestep any difficult questions with a quip or his accent.

Their front men were making runs and pulling our defence about.They did not give our players time to rest and all the time were probing to make a threat. I was impressed with them, but also with us as we outplayed them for long periods which should be a credit to us. if there are many better sides than them ,we should be concerned

how can you blame KD for last nights result. we had plenty of time to rectify that mistake and were leading again only for other mistakes costing us dear. As for the original post, well !! If the players say nothing they get slated and if they do say something they get slated for that. I really dont know what players can say about results of football matches that doesnt become repetitive after a while.As for Hammond he was superb and a really good signing.

Trousers, I put it wrong ,I meant some of the posters not neccessarily the originator.My fault. Lambert is not getting the service and I believe he needs anither who has the intelligence to link with him.He is a thinking centre forward and frankly if he flicks the ball on we dont have runners to take the chance to benifit. Saga is my most unfavourite player at present and when he came on we went from looking threatening to toothless. Lambert is a good player and when is harnessed with a better option up front will show his worth. Lallana was the best I have seen him for a long time but is not the answer alongside him.

Are you telling me it was lambert who missed the chance early in the second half. From the Northam i thought it was Lallana but then told it was morgan and now Lambert.IMO I would have expected him to slot it home and so will be surprised if it was him. If not it was a very bad miss by him

Well here we go again.People who ATTENDED and paid enjoy to watch good football as well as hoping for a good result can enthuse about the entertainment provided.Fans watching it on teletext only get enjoyment from the score. Football was the winner last night, the game was very good and standard above normal for this league.

When you attack the other end it is never the same excitement and is harder to push the team. Again their fans added that little extra for them when attacking them second half. You could see that little extra bounce they had when attacking their end,

Yep i watched the goal again this morning and he should not have come as far as he did. Of course the player was left to break free in the first place.

How can you say they were s###??? It amazes me how we still think we are bily big time and because Rovers play in a small stadium they must be s###. They had a very good dangerous forward line and their midfield was combatative. i doubt their manager yearns for ANY of our players but we would take plenty of thiers.

He did ok and his pace was missed when he was taken off (now that was a bad mis judgement) it gave their defence more confidence to come out with the ball and not worry about being caught.

I cant believe this thread.Lambert is an intelligent frontman and gave his all. His set up fopr lallana was superb and the second looks like was in before papa touched it home.If you need to criticise anyone for loacking interest it should be Saga, he looks a stomne overweight and did nothing when he came on.Hes useless and we need to offload him and get a decent partner in to help lambert
