Lambert is not getting the service and I believe he needs anither who has the intelligence to link with him.He is a thinking centre forward and frankly if he flicks the ball on we dont have runners to take the chance to benifit. Saga is my most unfavourite player at present and when he came on we went from looking threatening to toothless. Lambert is a good player and when is harnessed with a better option up front will show his worth. Lallana was the best I have seen him for a long time but is not the answer alongside him.

You never have naything positive to say and so it is no surprise you are so negative. To point at Lambert is madness IMO

Are you telling me it was lambert who missed the chance early in the second half. From the Northam i thought it was Lallana but then told it was morgan and now Lambert.IMO I would have expected him to slot it home and so will be surprised if it was him. If not it was a very bad miss by him

Well here we go again.People who ATTENDED and paid enjoy to watch good football as well as hoping for a good result can enthuse about the entertainment provided.Fans watching it on teletext only get enjoyment from the score. Football was the winner last night, the game was very good and standard above normal for this league.

When you attack the other end it is never the same excitement and is harder to push the team. Again their fans added that little extra for them when attacking them second half. You could see that little extra bounce they had when attacking their end,

How can you say they were s###??? It amazes me how we still think we are bily big time and because Rovers play in a small stadium they must be s###. They had a very good dangerous forward line and their midfield was combatative. i doubt their manager yearns for ANY of our players but we would take plenty of thiers.

He did ok and his pace was missed when he was taken off (now that was a bad mis judgement) it gave their defence more confidence to come out with the ball and not worry about being caught.

I cant believe this thread.Lambert is an intelligent frontman and gave his all. His set up fopr lallana was superb and the second looks like was in before papa touched it home.If you need to criticise anyone for loacking interest it should be Saga, he looks a stomne overweight and did nothing when he came on.Hes useless and we need to offload him and get a decent partner in to help lambert

Lamberts set up for Lallanas goal was superb.He is too good for the rest.I was impressed with their forward Dickson.

I cant believe fans who say they are cr##. they were useful all over the pitch and one thing for sure they would not have let their player the time and space to have a shot on goal like they did last kick. We just dont tackle and let them run

Rovers a good side, that matched us. Lallana's best game for a long time....but we cannot afford his negligence in front of goal.He had the chance to kill the game nut shot at the keeper. Their forward line much better than ours. Those who sing for Saga need their brains tested IMO. Mejis is not good enough and was woeful for their 2nd. Not sure that KD was responsible for first goal, i thought we lost concentration. Taking Papa off was a nonsense, our only pace. Where did the 5 minutes of injury time come from?

No it is not a case of him turning them down, it is a case that on working out out the transfer fee for David Villa and Riquelme they couldnt afford to pay McCallister as well. They have to be prudent afterall, they wouldnt like to be seen as reckless in the transfer market buying success. It is no use using Gaydamek as the fall guy.The CEO is in charge of running things and he should have pointed out ANY misgivings and the reckless spending.
