  1. doesnt it ride on Gaydamek agreeing to sell lannd to the new man? If I remember rightly Gaydameks father prohibited him from selling to Al faraj diue to them not liking each other?
  2. The away sides always when they win the toss attack their fans in the second half. Perhaps the players think that the Chapel of Rest is in fact attacking the home fans.I will wager if the Northam becomes mainly home fans who are making all the noise then they will kick to the northam 2nd half.
  3. If you mean Mark, I dont agree. he is doing what he has been told by the head stewards. The club need to address the problem as it is annoying, as only the front 10 rows get to be sat down, while the rest of the northam stand, as well as the away fans. The club should turn a blind eye to it and let us stand and just make low key attempts to make us sit
  4. well if it is so dumb, how come 100% of the time the opposing team kick to the Northam when they win the toss. How come Liverpool and Man u always kick top the stretford or Kop second half. The second half is obviously the more crucial half as that is when the real business is done in a tight match.Everyl ittle thing in your favour you try and tilt in your balance.IMO the away teams seem more energised when they attack to their fans. It is my opinion only, but our home form has been poor since SMS has been opened and the majority of the time we have kicked to the Chapel of Rest second half. If the club shut the Northam to home fans and made me relocate I wouldnt worry if it meant the ground having a intinidating end that roared the team on in the vital second half period.Of course if you mess up in the first half and are 2 or 3 down it doesnt matter.

  6. It is a case of the greater good IMO. The team will be cheered on by the extra vocla support the Itchen gives us and they can if they want to 'have banter' with the away fans stand at the Notham Itchen corner of the stand near to the new away section. It is obvious to me that the club are doing the no non s/t holders to encourage fans like St jason to move.
  7. If the Al Faraj brothers really are taking over at Pompey the spiritual home will be calling, more transfers to be made etc etc
  8. I thought he beat 3 not counting the keeper. We are a L1 team and expecting to have an accomplished player on loan from a CL club..,,,,amusing
  9. That is what it is all about Charlie. Takes me back 40 years to my childhood whne I was starry eyed. Heartwarming, thanks for posting it
  10. Jimmy I hope you come around to our thinking. That would mean Lambert is playing superb every game
  11. who are we trying to intimidate the away fans and their moron fans or the opposing team? To me I want the opposing team not wanting to face our end, rather than the opposing fans saying 'Eh they were intimidating 10 rows away giving it large, never mind we won and there is a police escort'
  12. The first 20 and the whole team was nervous. To be fair as i was in the nOrtham it was not evident to me he was playing poorly in the first 20
  13. As I was part of the under weststand lot at both ends I get what you say, but understood the nonsense of it even then.Of course the Mitlon had lost its identity then and being open it didnt hold the noise in like under the stands
  14. His one run when he totally outclassed their defence and Lallana nearly scored was worth the admission. He is so as has been put by others like Wanchope. He will put smiles on faces and also frowns but Id rather have him than not
  15. It may be good banter but if you tried sitting in the Chapel just 1 game you'd realise how little the home fans are heard when there is a large away support.Get the vocal support in one area. It is bizarre to have the fans split up in small pockets. If you are old enough to have experienced the milton in its hayday you may not have the same opinion.
  16. Hart also was upbeat nad so perhaps something in it
  17. they have returned now they have won.
  18. He's a relative of yours isn't he?
  19. Trotman shocking!!!!!!!!! Not in my book.I only criticise his downward header from a corner when he should have got it on target.A brilliant set piece that should have resulted in a goal
  20. yep the Dr has delivered a two pound kidney stone, that is to be named Beadle
  21. I agree Melis was the best he has been today
  22. I cant say im disappointed, in fact Im dleighted. When the Itchen join the Northam their superb support will add to make the SMS more intimidating. If we were going to play an away game and the club had divided our tickets to be either soide of away fans we'd be up in arms and [point how stupid it was to divide our vocal support. A step forwarm IMO and other clubs will think of us having a Kop end that was well known like other clubs have.
  23. I did I wanted to phone up and say my piece.@show him the Waigo to go home' I think was the fools quote. He did some delightful stuff.Id like to see his goal as it was a bit obscured but it seemed he may have done something sublime to score.
  24. No poor displays. Lambert MOM. Lallana carried on from tuesday...if only he had some pace.Another Surman who will find lack of pace is the thing that stops them being a top player.
