its ok I have read the sun homepage to get the info. It strikes me as a 'look at me ' quote. We all can say we have been raped by a celebrity (funnily enough one of my clients said Barrymore was at the beaulieu autojumble)
-
Am I missing something has she been raped??
-
It sure has been a while, I will wait for the next oneto be announced before a thread can be started .We dont want to have the plebs getting involved.
-
when was Jordan raped, I thought jacko got off with that?

Do you know where the current manager lives or some of the players? He did get on with it and brought Stern in as well as Davies.Another player we earnt plenty out of

should we not hang on here and think.I thought we were united in the belief that we wanted to get back to the top.Not 4 months ago we were about to go out of business. We then expected somebody to buy us and pay 15m for it and now after that we are complaining because we may be paying a few quid a game too much. Now i dont want to be had over but I suspect the same people who moan about ticket prices are the same ones who want us to spend on the squad. SFC is a hungry animal, without paying custoners we are stuffed as we cant rely on tv revenue.

you say the centre of the ground, so you mean the best seats I presume

So now the manager was not committed Lol. It was not worth , although if we had gone into admin 2uears before we may have been through thepain and have a different owner.

Baj should have been at home doing a dvd of the Forum match for me that hasnt appeared yet, he's a little tinker

Well i can look back and say i did warn about spinning the roulette wheel at the time, and questioned how we could afford it. sadly the fools in charge went headlong into the abyss. We certainly had our club back.

I thought you would have understood my wording,I accept it was not explained correctly. If you recall after the cup final and we sold Bridgey (the start of our decline IMO) WGS moaned that it is impossible to get to the top clubs because as you start to near them they just come and buy your best players. That is when the penny dropped for him that he had gone as far as he could. The same happened in the summer after the play offs.We had then some players who were the nucleus for us to make the top again but they were sold. Very few managers can put a side together in 6 months and turn them into a promotion team.Keane did it at Sunderland, he hasnt had the same luck at present at Ipswich. If we had not had the boardroom politics and the club had felt good about itself then perhaps we would have cracked it, his signings were OK but we ultimately failed in that season, the god given right for us to be in the top flight had not worked. The fans now are probably in the best mindset now for our climb. The majority I believe accept that we have to worjk to get back to the top and most are patient and can see the building blocks being ut into place. It does worry me seeing some on here thinking we should be beating all comers, they are misguided and if thety expect anything better than safety them they are only going to be disappointed.

I still go back to when some of our fans thought we were the big time charlies and sung to the Yeovil fans 'you'll never play here again' i hope they have forgotten and if winning sing 'we'll never play here again'
-
I get your point and do understand, but it is a team game and you have to be patient. To me Boyds attitude shows to me why perhaps he was not in the team in the first place.I have always been a team player and whilst of course I was the star and must play i always considered my teammates first.Team spirit often is more important than having individual talent.A mixture is vest of course.

so has his goals dried up now then? I really dont know I promise. If they have surely he could be in the same bracket as saga.He scored 11 in 10 then got his contract and lost his touch to a degree. I would suspect that most football fans on here if given the privilage to play for their country would not refuse however long it takes to get picked. Can you imagine what a bad influence he must have been in the dressing room? As I have said numeous times GB walked out on us like many others, hoping to get a better job he is no better than any of them

Fed up with absolutely NO decent Saints coverage on local radio...
OldNick replied to Gordon Mockles's topic in The Saints
