I was gtetting worried about you and was going to post on the 'missing posters'thread in the Lounge where have you gone....fortunately I didnt waste the ink
-
You have always seemed a decent sort of skate but this is getting foolish. During our darkest hours we had quite a few posts on our main board and I for 1 objected. The mods let them stay. if the posts on your main board are childish then i agree you should remove them but if it is a case of pointing out you indeed bought the cup , are Wigan of the South, and are mad to dance to Peter Storries tune, then I see no harm of them informing you of the truth. I myself dont feel the need to post on a Pompey site, id feel dirty and anyway so many of your lot look on here i dont need to.

Are you a compter geek or is it easy to do what you did.Im impressed ..now what's Ho's name etc lol
-
thankfully you are not a mod. Although i will admit it is one of my pet things.

That is probably fair that LC still paid his way although I dont have any info either way. The concept of us ALL buying the tickets and so help swell the clubs kitty is fair. I remember vividly thr footage of that old lady putting her savings into the club when we were in admin, to me she should be rewarded more than many others ahead of her in the queue

I dont care what end was chosen but I still believe the club should make a real effort to encourage and promote the thought to have an end that would roar the team home. Yesterday Souness and the others on Sky mentioned that they thought Liverpool would up their game by kicking to the Kop second half, the Northam do ok but if that was doubled can you imagine what an atmosphere we could create that could intimidate the opposition team but also lift ours? We must be the only club around who dont have a sole end of fans singing the team to victory. We have a fragmented set of fans who are scattered piecemeal around the ground singing in small groups.
-
that brings me to my current pet theme of having one end singing the team to victory. Many have ridiculed my thought that having a kop end and the players kicking to their fans does have an influence.Souness (hardly a softie) Jamie Redknapp and Coppell all thought that kicking to the Kop second half would make a difference for Liverpool against Man u

Really???? crikey would that be the case for other sites including this one?
-
i dont ever think that Boro have good fan base. They rarely fill the ground
-
what responsibility do you have about people moving to other sites then Steve? Surely you have no powers to stop them nor do you incite fans to do so, afterall their mongs come on here on the wind up.
-
I thought Merovingian had something to do wit that forum I myself wouldnt go on there but it is a bit ripe that they are getting tetchy afterall the stuff some of their fans have put on here in the past.

Im glad my mind was not playing tricks. It was a long time ago now but what a goal.

If the Dr really has the options on the land and sold off 90% but still kept that he is a shrewd worker.
-
My first away game was an ight one away at WHU. Tommy Jenkins scored one of the best goals I ever saw. He seemed to dribble the ball around the whole team before slotting it home.
-
I was a bit alarmed when he took out Hammond with a late tackle. That was my only fear of us playing against him, that he did one of our players some harm
-
Lol.Gaydamek was the one they should laud as without him they would not have been able to buy the FA cup.Ok it has now come back to bite them, but at the time they didnt care
-
that from somebody who didnt realise he'd been played, lol
-
go on keep sucking it in. Storrie is paid in ther region of 1.2m for overseeing the club.It is his job to keep the wheels turning and not get them into the mire. Why else is he paid if not?
-
lol.If anyone wants prestige on a chatroom then that is funny. You may think that is prestige, but I see it more for him as being asked for autograpghs and geting publicity that his business never gave him. He is a wealthy man who is self made.I always have admiration for them...until they meddle with the football club I follow and then make a couple of bad calls that may have jeopodised it. Anyway i dont want to get into a debate of that past nonsense,. IMO all should pay for their own tickets, if the owner does then why not everybody?

the screen has just given up the ghost on mine. Vodafone say i have cracked the screen, but it not so. It is the membrane behind the screen that has gone. All I have now is a white screen with a big black splodge on the top corner. They cant replacer it for a few days, it is murder without it.
-
but you are not slagging him off, and so I don't get your point
-
what aboutTopcat
-
IYO. He undoubtedly feels a great deal for the club but I doubt that is any more than you or me.
-
handsomely paid by prestige perhaps. His involvement propelled him from an unknown businessman ,apart from people in his field to instant recognition to thousands.Sometimes being very wealthy is not enough. I see no exception
-
whats brought this on? Do you want to be on 'missing poster thread part 2'?
