If he indeed does let us down again then he deserves all he gets. I have only met him once for about 5-10minutes and found him very affable.The 2 people I also know who are very much behind him/with him I would expect to be quite good at assessing him/his people. Now they also could have been duped but they are a bit long in the tooth to be easily fooled. iam of the mindset that we have little choice if we wish to have a club in a few weeks time. Pinnacle have come to the battle waving the banners and flag and have a very fine figureheadand so i understand the siding with them, but have they delivered either? but i think Phils point is MJ is not the man. he may have found the person/persons interested.I myself have not got off my a### to get anybody at all interested and i suspect that less than a handfull on here have either. All the posters who have been full of derision are sitting behind their computers waiting for it to happen. I think it is a bit rich to totally tear MJ to pieces as he has at least got somebody to bid. it takes some work to do so I expect and we should give some respect of his efforts. We seem in the main to respect Fry and so why are some questioning him listening to MJ's people?? Has he become a fool all of a sudden because he has accepted/ spoken to MJ's contact?

As I say i dont think it is abusive perhaps bad manners or slightly offensive. I dont take umbridge .Most on here are fellow Saints fans, quite a few of the people disrespecting my initial post are fairly new on here though.

Fry is the only person who knows all the facts. i have made my concerns known as I am concerned that by waiting we may lose the only bid we have on the table at present.he may well be confident of another and he rightly will decide in his own time.That does not stop me from considering if we are left with no bidders the implications of that. fair comment but also some of these people have ego's and want an answer quickly.They may only threaten to pull out or might even reduce their offer as they know if they are second best their offer will only come to fruition if the preferred one fails. These people are better poker payers than i am and so who am I to pre judge their thinking.I just post my fears and guage an opinion from the little bits I am hearing form friends and aquaintences.

i dont wear ties and dont like tap water! I accept that Fry is a smart man. Of course he would not have sold many football clubs and as we know to our cost football seems to have different business rules than most he would have come up against in the past.It is hard to quantify a worth in this case alos buyers motives.Clapham Saint is very interesting to follow in his posts as he is thinking i would suggest as Fry does and so that gives a good insight to that train of thought. SFC is a massive risk for a small middle sized investor, as i can see it is hard to make a business plan based on fickle football fans and footballers performance. They I would have thought been only interested if there is a good upside , as there is definitely a big downside.
