Do you think that putting Wotton on changed the game? Not the casre that Derby had 3 very good players who changed th flow of the game. Please do not tell me that Surman going off changed the game as that is not as i see it. AS had a poor game and putting on another defensive mifdfielder wasthe right decision.Saga should have been substituted as well as he was ineffective.

If Wotte keeps us up it wil be down to a very good manager who has got the fight back in the squad. To then discard him is madness.

Well I was one of those Duncan. I dont go to games expecting all to fall under our spell. Derby came on the back of some decent form, they knew that if they didnt lose they were nearly safe and showed the will and quality to get what they wished for. Add that to the fact they had some useful players in their team who would probably get into our team with out too much trouble. A draw was OK could have been better or a lot worse. if we keep accumalting points we will be fine. This was after a poor result saturday at brum. Lets not be too down hearted yet after all there are many who thouhght we were down 5 games ago. They might be right but we still have some big games far greater than last night.

As i said you get all girly. The German , Chinese , South African consortiums all still fighting it out and that's forgetting the Middle Eastern lot. Now when is the stadium to be unveiled. I suspect we will have to wait until Pompey get another win for you to come back and tell us. Only 24 posts from you in the whole of this year so far, wheras in half of september when you were on a roll you posted 22 times (I could only put the latter half of september as the records stop mid sept)

the team were nervous and Derby packed the midfield. AS had an off night. Yes the players were tired the same could be said for Derby. they have a good squad that is underperforming until now. They like us kept the manager too long and that is a mistake we may regret.Their squad and bench are superior and looked bigger more athletic and physically stronger. Saying that they had an enormous stroke of luck with their players mi**** shot which fell kindly. I was happy to take a pont beofre the game and at the end.We are still alive and whilst we didnt catch up on my teams we ddint fall back much either. There are going to be masny more twists and turns.Saga also was non existant and I dearly hope his first few games were not another flash in the pan. he was not chasing like he normally does but he like Surman cant do it every game. Size and Perry were great.james was unable to burst forward as much as Teale was always a threat and so nullified that side.

footballs all opinions. i dont think he is a grreat player but he adds to our bite and his experieence is invaluable. He did well for Plymouth and has helped galvanise the dressing room.Winning mentality has been in short supply at our club and he adds an ingrediant. All IMO

thye injury to Mc Claggon is unfortunate as his pace as an outlet is missed.Dyer of course would be ideal as well and I assume BWP is really out of favour.
-
He adds a bit to our game and passion. he is no Ronaldo but he is what is needed in this league at times. As for Surmans miss it was vital and he had a poor night. As has been mentioned before that shot for them that hit the post and came out was just as vital.

On here again are you? Disappeared when you were sliding down the table, pops back on after a win and a draw. You may carry on with your claims of non interest but the posters on here know it is the truth. You will disappear again as soon as you are on rocky ground. We wont forget your 'we will be taken over in 2 weeks and the stadium has started.' claims. You come on here for banter lol, you get all girly when you dont like it. Oh Storrie is in the middle east, what with the Bournemouth directors I suppose

I agree but considering Brum is in the countries second biggest city the turnout is poor. I recall conversations with a friend who was a Brum fan when they were in the old 2nd division and we were div 1 and he assuered me they were a sleeping giant...where have we heard that before from other blue fans?
-
I read that quickly and missed the crunchers bit. I went into a bit of a panic
-
the most important question nobody seems to have asked is will the St Johns ambulance people be there?
-
Oh don't go there Ponty or the red pen will be out on your stuff.I agree i want to talk footy with Ginge and he will want to as well.We are all saints afterall.
-
That is about the same as I put. It will be interesting how football streaming effects the crowds.Today I watched both FA cup games on a feed from the US on my computer, totally legal and at no cost.Saturda afternoon people will be able to watch any PL game and perhaps CCC.Will that impact on atendances as well?

The word 'Im' was highlighted in red. You are welcome to be the spellchecker and punctuation expert on here as I will never win that one Sir. I never saw an apology and never expected one as teacher never was prone to holding their hands up even if they were well out of order. Now where are all those millionaires you said were hanging around wanting to buy our club.No list has been forwarded. Of course you will not be able to provide it, as it would be impossible. No shame in that but remember the things you put up and I put up are based on our opinions not facts in the main.

The team we have now will have little comparison to then if we go down.I expect that the club may close large parts of the ground but if the Chapel becomes the home end I dont think that will be a bad thing if we have a proper end for the home fans who get behind the team.
-
Do you think if we stay up that will be the case? If we go down it will be depressingly 10k or below. If Wotte is successful then I expect the levels to be as they are now.I watched the Arsenal game today and saw all those empty seats in the FA cup qtr finals!! How things have changed. It is hard to judge exactly what will happen next season, a lot would be down the recession league and ticket prices.Add to that who is in control of the club, although the league we are in is the major bit.
-
I assume he wanted to keep the same team and when he saw he was jaded he made the change.Sometimes these things dont come out until you are playing
-
Guess spell checker is no good, if you insert the wrong word. 'BUT HE GOT MY POINT' so what do you mean by that? I accept that Im not that good a spelling etc. I find it funny your errors not only on this thread but another since and you talk about glass houses. When I called you a schoolteacher I was only kidding but perhaps I was spot on, underlining bits in red Lol
-
What was that? I know that Im bad at spelling etc and you think you are good but make similar mistakes.
-
the next 2 games will see our fate IMO. Less than 4 points and if the others match or better and we are in dire striaghts. We are still better placed than we were 3 or 4 weeks ago.
-
When I went to watch us play Villa some years ago they also had a load of advertising sponsorship at half time. It was odd.
-
I think 4 points out of the next 2 games is the best we can hope for.We have to keep plugging away.It is harsh that all the others seem to have found form at the same time as well, but thats Saints for you

Where was it explained.Where is Connors piece so I can read it? i have also explained to you in reply why i think it was a mistake sitting in the road. As for the facts in the public domain, do you know the financial restraints of the club day to day? I dont, we also dont know the banks wishes. I have read Wotte's full piece in the Echo now and he is perhaps antogonistic to some who stay away. That may not help him cement his place in the fans altime favourites, but i can understand where he is coming from in what he said. You believe you/they are right, I say unless you know the full facts how can you tell? You can obviously see things you dont like about RL, we all can, but also we dont know what has been forced upon him. Jan was a big mistake especially the length of time he was there(although at 1 stage he was about 7 points clear of the bottom 3,no marches then) I chuckled when I read your post and saw the most recent error in your grammar by the way.

If i did do you think Id be on here argueing with you lot?
