I cant believe people are pouring out such vitriol, and the slander of his private life!! All of a sudden it seems Ralphs tenure was the best football the world have ever seen. Listening to Stoke fans ffs
-
Do you think that if the club gets a good offer if he is at Burnley or here the club will turn it down??
-
Im sorry but I dont agree, if Haarland had the chances that Che has missed in the last few matches we would have a lot more points. Che is a good hardworking footballer, but finishing is not his best asset. A bit like Ormyroyd, he set up space for Beattie to score. Che was the same for Ings. Get a player up with him that can find the net and we could scrape out of this mess

I dont believe bringing Tella back and that pressure will help his development. Leave him there so that he can really learn. Scoring goals in the Championship doesnt always lead to goals in the PL
-
I dont follow him, but I assume with your question not well. I look as I saw it at the time for us. We will never know what would have happened had he stayed, but I dont think there have been many happy times since. Perhaps a few spells under Ralph, but not a lot

Well that was before last night lol. Just think we are self harming not giving him a chance. The board are highly unlikely to sack him, ego as much as anything. It would be another large slice of money out of our budget. They will ride the storm. Buy Ings or a couple of decent players, then that will soothe things for a little while. He strikes me as an honest individual and has to cope with a club that is used to failure and heavy beatings. The fanbase also to a degree, and we are suffering a bit of self entitlement as a Championship manager is below us, we need some clever foreign manger. I wanted to keep Puel, and am certain we would be in a better place had he been given more time. Sadly we were expecting wonderful football even though some of better players had gone...as usual

Would you really place a bet as that foolish??? Im not sure how old you are but Lawrie came from Grimsby Town and went through pelters, the board kept him and we had the best days supporting Saints. Yes NJ is not who I expected but I am warming to him. We as a fanbase do not have time to be down on the manager as we need the team to feel us behind them

You were doing so well, then you go and ruin it. Happy New Year DT
-
It would be both. They worked together really well and would be a massive boost. I know we have to suck it up a bit but he has the talent and PL experience to get some goals
-
Im not sure how long Ankersen left Brentford but they seem to still find decent players
-
Probably be better to spend the money on Brightons scouting team, Im sure others will. Said the same about Brentford 2 years ago. Its not about black boxes but having shrewd judges who can see the potential
-
I think we were linked to Berge last season. If only the scouts have taken my idea of Ivan Toney when he was at Peterborough, I also mentioned Todd Cantwell who had only played a couple of cup games at that stage. Hs career has faltered but still a decent player. Under the wrong boss. What about Matt Grimes at Swansea he struck me as a leader and a decent player

Crikey, the author of this thread certainly has got the response he wanted. There are 11 pages, most of the stuff he has ever started have only ever got 2 or 3 replies. Well done

Why change that badge!! It is famous

Don't worry most on here couldn't catch a ball let alone try and stop one at the pace a modern footballer can hit a shot at.

Much of this is valid. Personally, I'm not that sad that Ralph has gone as he just seemed to make some odd decisions and must have perplexed the players. As was posted online last week, our model doesn't work in the Championship. IMO SR have used our beloved club as an experiment, whilst I truly hope they somehow get us out with survival, can we forever rely on teams coming up that are worse than us? (this season it doesn't seemed to have happened.

McCarthy is that keeper. Sadly he like many others is vilified on here. He made many match winning saves in games in the past, also in games when our league position was in peril.

was it more expensive ticket to have the seat facing backwards

I heard Southgate on the radio this morning and interestingly he said 'some havent progressed as he though they would' You could point at all the ones left out in that, but truthfully JWP is the same player he was 5 plus years ago. He has been unlucky playing in poor sides with fairly negative tactics, if Henderson was at Saints and JWP at Liverpool we know who would be picked
-
Not a great fan of Saints or JWP not sure which one he means
-
Will there be any anti-Jones protests at the game tonight?

MB it was a sad day when your time travelling took you away from postings of half clothed young maidens -
Sad for him, but truthfully he is too safe, His creativity with through balls and setting up chances is poor. The hype about his free kicks got to him a bit. I was also alarmed when he said in an interview he rarely practised them!! As with Redmond, perhaps he has lost his game a bit after following RH orders and his pattern of play. I hopeNJ releases him a bit to play a bit more freely
