  1. It is so easy to reel them in.Lol. Ginge I have missed you the last few days, I think we must both have been busy because neother of us have been posting much
  2. Oh god I used to find her strangely erotic in my formative years and now you have put that image in my mind
  3. I see where you are coming from but it was the hostile Iam Billy Big Boots attitude that came with him that torpedoed any chance of that.
  4. Not biased just stating it as it is.LC and LM have correctly decidied to stay out of the politics for the time being.I wonder why that is?
  5. Im not.
  6. Do you see the irony in your post about the site being quiet and then constantly trying to make posters who add to the site feel uncomfortable in doing so in future. FC decides to put down his thoughts in a well thought out and argued manner, fair play to him.
  7. that is all down to PR. Something the club were very slick on when we were in the PL. Visiting hospitals and going to schools is correct and probably done for the right reasons.Embracing the younger fans was done for the good reason of if you get them young they are fans forever.
  8. I put it as I see it. I dont believe the club has really been interested in fans in the 40 years I have been going except for me paying as much as they could get from me. I understand that, and do except I am my own worst enemy in that. Of course the club want us a paying customers but why do they want us for anything more that that? Do you think McDonalds want their customers for anything more than to sell them a few more Happy Meals, their promotions and family friendly pitch is all about targetting those people IMO. Perhaps I have held it close to me from my childhood experience how we were treated by the club as kids and so that is where i have got my cynicism about it. As for the Parliament, i dont see what it could bring. Perhaps the burger bars will supply sauce in better bottles or th\at we alos may have Milky ways sold as well as Yorkies but I odubt it will have any say on who runs the club or who is installed as manager, rightly so by the way.
  9. PR IMO, which is a difference
  10. Not much to talk about. The 2 camps have called a truce , as in Crouch LM etc and so are not stirring the pot. The marches/protests have faltered and the fans in the main are being fully supportive of the team. This is what a united fan base brings. No doubt you will conjure something up to get the forum swinging. Or it might be that the anti Lowes are keeping a low profile as they want to play in the game and dont want to spoil their chances
  11. CS, whilst i agree MW let us down we don't know quite whqat position the club was in financially at that precise time. i understand fans have no faith in RL's financial nous but I myself have to a degree. I think MW let us down when he first rode into town, at that stage RL was cutting costs and getting us sound before putting us in a position to push.I expect many will laugh at that but it is how I see it. Very few are privy to the 'Real' situation but I suspect MW realised he had to act to save his investment and the club that was on the precipice. I agree we are close to it again due to RL foolishly keeping Jan on for 4-5 games too long.If we stay up we will strengthen again. As I have put before RL allegedly has a 3 year plan, year 1 to stabilise year 2 to consolidate and year 3 to push again for the PL.
  12. The whole thing is a farce. I cant see how any cross section of fans will get what we want.We cant even decide on here who has had a good game, each week
  13. i dont see how the fans have been treated any differently under Lowe than they have since year dot.If you are gullible enough to believe that they are no more interested in you than they are any other punter then you are naive. We are cash cows, and if you really think that any football fan is seen as anything else im surprised. The clubs may say that we are important, but we are not and sadly like most businesses you are only as good as your last purchase. The fans wanted Lawrie gone, did they get it? they wanted Branfoot gone, did they get it? The list can go on and on, the club does as it wants always has done and always will do. yes it may make certain allowances but whether it was George reader, Crouch, Askham or Lowe its first priority was always to them
  14. I remeber the name and had him in my sticker book of players in the 70's.
  15. West ham away SU home FA cup 76. The tension of the Wimbledon home 0-0 when Mancity had pulled back from 2 down and Bally thought that was enough and so told them to defend rather than go for a win. lol. That was the closest we ever got going down without doing so and should have really as we were dire.
  16. Thanks.I will go and find a copy.
  17. If the fans paliament is ever going to work it needs representation form both sides of the divide. therefore you couldnt have DW and Duncan.I myself would go for DW as he does not have the rift with RL as far as Im aware and already is experienced with the more diplomatic way of putting fans views forward. On the more understanding of why RL is doing what he has done i myself would think NC or FC would give that side a fair voice. I have never met Mike Callaghan but have seen him at games for many years and have seen him interviewed. I was impressed. If the voice is only going to be from the rabid anti Lowe side then it is a non starter. Im sceptical anyway it will become a gentlemans club, where the fans will slip into comfort zone and not wish to lose their privilaged place. It is only nature
  18. I was intrigued as well and looked back at Duncan's posts. I expect it was this one 'They can't even afford to restock 30 copies of ITN which is sold out! ' What is ITN by the way?
  19. I have been told the kit is in the price. I suspect though it will have we love RL on the back.
  20. If you are my only mate someone hand me the rope I have an oak tree outside. i dont care if you believe me or not it makes no difference, some know that the stuff i put up is spot on regarding info. Some bits i can't put on for various reasons and the bit i heard yesterday ....... On a tenuous vein the share price went up very slighly today. Only £2500 worth though.
  21. still be going, it will be good to have the proper fans still there Lol.

    Killer

Well the word used was launched so i took it to be kicked.
  23. I heard from someone whose friend is in the playing squad at Forest that Davis is not very popular with the team at all.

    Killer

Just a little snippet i heard. Against Derby Killer kicked a bottle of water in anger and it flew past Clough onto the pitch. He went and started whining to the 4th official about it and wanted Killer to be sent to the stands.Lol , Clough was given a bit of stick about that from the coaching staff etc.
