  1. UMP Stewart Dennis said on Radio Hants that the break even figure was 17k.I can only assume he is well placed to hear these things. i think also that it is hard for all of us to read posts by LS etc saying the end is near 'as i said so' or "i was told' and so better believe it. I would respectfully suggest we understand there are a lot of people being used as pawns to try and apply pressure on the fan base. Whowould it serve best if the fans started the Lowe out chants again? it seems to me that LS has all of a sudden appeared and has had an agenda since day 1 and so do we have to accept 100%all that is put is fair and balanced? Do you also believe that if we went into administration the club would be a fantastic opportunity? I dont as Saints in L1 would have gates of sub 10k and still very high overheads with NO acadamy. Let RL or whoever is in charge keep us from admin at all costs and if we stay up things will look a lot brighter next season. If LC is to inject money then lets hope he does it fast but if he is sitting on the sidelines stirring the dirt shame on him.
  2. yes sorry am at Florida Keys and so slipped into yank talk...have a nice day by the way
  3. Im away on vacation and thought Id log on and have a look whats going on...then I see this thread!!!! What a nonsense dispicable idea. As if losing to a top of the league club is going to make any difference. LS i know you are bitter and twisted about RL but the only losers are us. Re think your position and wish for us to win and then again and again , that would be am uch quicker way of us getting back to some sort of stability. A few wins and your anti RL campaign would be put back in the box as the crowds would grow and the fans will stay behind the team.
  4. I think I d rather keep the one we've got than that list..and Peter Taylor!!
  5. He'd be all talk, all of us would donate a lottery win to Saints ...until we won it.NO offence OSM but when the push comes to the shove I doubt any of us would risk all our wealth for the club
  6. bloody hell and I htought you were important and wel connected and would have at least a parking space at the stadium
  7. Morph, I do hope you are right and that you are not playing games.Afterall your claim that Salz was going to be there yesterday did not materailise apparently.
  8. not me DD, that was people like warnock, Dowie.I was very much for him before NP was chosen.
  9. I would go for Davies but Cotterill is often at the games (probably scouting for other clubs) and he was in the frame one time. A so called up and coming manager at one stage (not that I particularily want him but just an observation)
  10. apology accepted, always a mod never a rocker
  11. Ron I agree I couldnt believe those 2 were left on the bench and Thompson and gobern chisen, and when the sub was made he took off wotton. I may add it was not me who called him lazy but pointing out that many fans were against a star palyer.
  12. Windmill dont start all that happy clappy stuff. We are all hurting and os dont need that again.Fans are trying to rally our spirits ,there.s nothing wrong with that.
  13. Its depressing walking ot the ground and there is no buzz, you go onto the concourse and there is hardly anyone there, the SMS experience is fading very fast
  14. Ron do you realy think the club want to play with only the kids, because I dont. As for SJ last season we had loads of threads telling us he was lazy and a waste of space.Rasiak and saga also. Pulis has not signed yet as far as Im aware. The other players loans would nt be paid a fraction of Johns wage. It seems we cannot borrow anymore money and so we couldnt hav the luxury of the star players wages. Only a few know the real story and i am not one of them and can judge from afar, and give my opinion
  15. I think that is true. The highs of last week have been cut very quickly. As soon as I heard the team it was obvious it was not up to taking on a passing side like BC. Iam happy with the youth experiment but the wholesale changes week in week out is unneccessary and reckless IMO.Last season I could see why some of it was done but this season it is foolish.
  16. thats unfair on lallana
  17. was it worth it, those poor souls sacrificed for that.
  18. Yes it was a good honest post. Forget not we had the club given back to the fans and football first a season or so back. It got us nowhere but just to now a bit quicker. If LC came by himself and rid us of the others then fine, but all due respect he is not wealthy enough(no shame in that as he's wealthier than most if not all on here) That is the problem, Rl has the backing of people like Askham etc who sit in the background pulling the stringss and getting the rewards without putting anything back. I dont know how we can get out of this as we seem to have the worlds tyre kickers convention turning up at our club every week. LS and Morph obviously are being fed some info but how accurate it is we can only guess. If it was me in the position I would be pestering the people to get a shift on (they of course maybe doing so)as the fan base is ready to give up and once the real hardened fans start to give up on the club it will be very hard to bring them back on board. Slipping in little bits that unsettle and make us more concerned helps who? If they are waiting for us to go into administration so they can buy us cheaper then shame on them as they also will be looking at us for money reasons not for the clubs betterment IMO
  19. where did that one come from, he puts up some of the best htreads on TMS especially they are a bit risque. He's had a snappy new haircut by the way, he hadnt better go to the fair as people will start throwing balls at him hoping to win a prize....only kidding MB it was very modern
  20. If he sees the books he knows what state his position is regarding future losses to his share price. Surely he would see sense if he is only likely to get a fraction of what he could get now.
  21. So by that is RL in it for money or football reasons or both? StR of course you are entitled to your opinion. You must remember that when we were in the PL football was omnly then starting to be a billionaires toy, we missed the boat and RL etc lost thir opportunity to sell for big money, now they are seeing a diminishing return.Perhaps LM etc selling their shares immediately they had the chance was perhaps the best way.
  22. It is right for it to be sombre and respectful, the last thing we need is Ross and Brand doing a commentary.
  23. I met a Bevan boy a few weeks back.
  24. Only what I have heard. i did hear that he would only sell to people who woul,d be able to take the club on and put money in. Imnot close to know what is really going on, Im sick of hearing that a certain bid has its money in place and ready to move.
  25. I wouldnt know but it seems to me that if you knew your company/shareholding were at risk of going into administration then you would sell to your worst enemy. If RL is so fond of money then he would take what he can and run.
