I'm not saying throw 6 academy graduates into a starting line up but there were plenty of occasions last season where the game was over and we could've thrown on an academy player to see what he could do only to look at the bench and not see any there. We aren't Man Utd or Chelsea etc where we are competing for titles. We are a decent mid table club. We are in the perfect position to blood young players and this season that's one of the only positives. Anyone putting a negative spin on that aspect of our club is quite frankly weird in my book.

You'll never really know if they are ready unless you give them a go though. Koeman just wouldn't give them a chance. Reed for instance showed some decent potential and was then just binned off.

Welcome to the world of blooding young players into one of the toughest leagues going. If you expect every academy player to just waltz into the first team and become world class then you may as well give up. Even the famous Ajax academy in its hey day produced players that had to be developed for the first team.

Why? We hugely miss his hold up play. How many times this season has Austin got the ball, turned around and been the only one there with 2/3 defenders for company? Pelle was excellent at holding it up and bringing other players into play.

No he isn't. When he had a run of games in the Liverpool side he was very good. He'd be an upgrade on Fonte.

He's a solid mid table Premier League midfielder. Nothing more, nothing less. Why is there so much pressure on him? He really isn't half as bad as people make out. Is it because a load of people touted him as the next England captain a few years back? Poor lad is a scapegoat.

If Liverpool can drop their valuation of Sakho down to say 15-18 mil and we get 9 mil for Fonte then that would be an outstanding piece of business.

****ing hell. Can't even celebrate the success of our academy without the usual's putting a negative spin on it. I understand people have their own views and it's sometimes a negative one but jesus, it's relentless at times on here. This feat is definitely something to be proud of, especially after Koemans comments about them not being good enough.

The stats back up what i'm seeing tbh and most others. Last season the stats showed he was one of the best in the league. This season they show he's one of the worst and there has been a marked decline in what i'm seeing on the pitch as well. He looks so slow and static at times and he's nearly as bad as Kelvin for staying on his line. You can moan about stats all you want and pick them apart in nearly every aspect but unfortunately, with Fraser this season they are bang on. He's been massively below par.

He's (says through gritted teeth) been brilliant this season. In fact, Spurs have the two best full backs this season so far.

It's not that thick tbh and it goes against what i'd say is a traditional Breitling these days by having a normal sized face rather than a massive one. It's a really nice watch and the Montbrilliant Navitimer seems to hold it's value a bit better than the normal Navitimer. Saying that the 01 model will keep it's value better. Have a look at this model, it's not too flashy at all, is smaller than usual Breitling Chronometers and the face is stunning imo. It's a hell of a lot less flashy that the massive Chronomat i've got! If you are genuinely interested in buying a chronograph watch and you want one thats not too beefy and flashy then i'd recommend the Montbrilliant Navitimer. I'll post a picture of it on my wrist next week if you like so you can get some perspective on it's size.

Agree with this tbh. I'd say i'm in the middle ground. I have some negative views but always like to look at the positives. Unfortunately it's been fairly difficult to do that lately and i'm firmly in the Puel must go camp. There is a lot of bickering on here though but it doesn't help that a few posters clearly only come on here to get a rise out of people. It happened to me on Facebook when a saints fan who was 53 years old with kids/grand kids started calling me all sorts of names just because I disagreed with him about Sakho. A player that's not even ours. Don't get why some people can't control their aggression and ones that go out of their way to wind people up over the internet.

Had to send the watch back as soon as it arrived. Big scratch on the face that wasn't there in the description and it was quite frankly very dirty. Didn't show the business in a good light BUT the guy took it back, polished it, changed the crystal and serviced it for £100. Bargain. I get it back next week but from the pictures, it looks good as new!

Lol. He's one of the most naturally gifted finishers in the league and when fully fit is a nightmare to mark. He'd be an outstanding signing for us!
