I'm all for rotation as we are in a lot of competitions this season but playing McQueen up front is very risky imo. Puel will be a genius if Sam scores though. On a plus side though, Puel has obviously done his homework on all of our players as he obviously knows Sam has played up top before.

Boufal is not the right type of player to be playing any sort of double pivot/deep lying play maker role imo. He's an out and out creative forward.

We've got the perfect personnel to play a decent 4231. Austin Tadic Boufal Redmond Romeu Hojbjerg Bertrand Fonte VVD Soares Forster Much more balanced and then you have a pretty good bench as well with the likes of Clasie, Long, Rodriguez etc.

If Liverpool bid for a Saints left back it won't be Sam McQueen. It'll be Bertrand.

George Best was one of the best players in the world at his peak, he was also an absolute **** head. Our lack of success is as much down to the managers as it is the players. Maybe even more so. For as long as I can remember England managers have either played systems that don't work with the players they have at their disposal, left their best players at home or thumbed players into positions they don't usually play just because they are a big name.
