Wow. What a result. I am absolutely buzzing with that. We didn't make things easy for ourselves but Inter set up to frustrate us. Handanovic is an exceptional keeper. Won them the game in Italy and was very good again last night. Virgil is the second best CB I've ever seen in a saints shirt and if he keeps it up, he'll nick the number one spot from Toby. He's absolutely dominant and was easily MOTM. Special mention to JWP though, that's one of his best games for us. Unfortunately Jay seems a mile off the pace atm. He needs to get it together. Shame as there's a very good player in there somewhere. Anyway, historical result. COYR

Talk it down all you want, there was a lot of fighting in the stands today. It's not the first time they've had trouble there either. It's the owners fault though for cutting costs on policing for matches and instead using this private company. Stupid, especially for a game against Chelsea.

So much will be made on where we finish in the league. If we finish lower than 6th some will say Koeman did a better job but for me, if you factor in the fact we lost pelle, mane and wanyama and add to that the extra Europa league games, i'd say top 8 with getting out of the Europa league group will be an improvement.

Yep. He looked a really good prospect when he first joined Chelsea. I was quite frustrated with Koeman last season tbh. Didn't seem to want to give him the run of games he needed.

Knew Rom was good from his younger days. Thought Chelsea had bought a good prospect. Unfortunate with his knee injuries but has been fantastic so far this season. So much so, we aren't missing big vic at all.

Was the only disappointing thing I saw the whole three days I was there. Thought our fans in the whole were brilliant but the bottle throwing in the canal was a real shame.

There's no doubts that Romeu suits this system a lot more than Wanyama would. Lets not kid ourselves, Wanyama was a beast. A pure destroyer that could dominate the midfield but he was very reliant on a partner doing some of the running for him. Systems make and break players. Look at Drinkwater for example. I don't care what anyone says, he's a decent player but nothing more but he benefited massively from having Kante next to him. Now he looks average without him. Big Vic moved at the right time imo. This system doesn't suit a destroyer like him but it's tailor made for a player like Romeu. Hats off to Romeu as well. He's really stepped it up this season. I always knew there was an outstanding player in there from the days before his knee problems so i'm glad he's flourishing in the new system.
