  1. Sorry Steve but Chorley was there and he is not a shareholder is he? He was there on someone elses proxy as in previous years as far as I am aware. Not sure about Perry Mc. Bearing mind all their posturing about plc's I doubt it but am happy to be proved wrong!
  2. You leave her alone. She's a good girl she is. A good cook for a nineteen year old as well.
  3. Bill, just look at the world economics at this time. Just look at the number of building projects in Southampton being pulled at this time. Just look at the lack of investors whilst Lowe was not in charge (forget his cabel, if they had held influence he would not have been ousted in the first place - Wilde let him back in). Just look at the position we are in the league and with Administraton will certainly come relegation. Look at the Bournemouth evening Echo on line to see the problems AFC Bournemouth continue to have. Then ask yourself, would you be prepared to invest millions when you have already seen your own investment take a major hit due to world issues?
  4. Just a reminder Any club going into administration after the fourth Thursday in March will have their 10-point deduction suspended. If the club is relegated the points will be deducted from their tally at the start of next season. If the club stays up the 10 points will be taken off their final total. The club would then go down if the 10-point deduction subsequently resulted in it slipping into a relegation place.
  5. The click of the turnstile does that surely (but not for the corporate area through reception)
  6. I am unaware of any covenants.
  7. If he is so keen on Jacksons farm then surely he buys it from the Administrator without the millstone of a football club round his neck. Jacksons farm has an "agricultural" value only. It is outside the proposed development area for Hedge End and the likelyhood of any investment value is very very risky and many years away if at all.
  8. Hey that's an idea...can't he buy us!
  9. I have not been sent an Agenda
  10. Abraham Lincoln: If you once forfeit the confidence of your fellow citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem. It is true that you may fool all of the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all of the time; but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
  11. He will blame it on the supporters and the previous regime. That is Rupert Lowe's way. He is incapable of any other view. It is like a sickness. His make up will not allow it any other way. That's my opinion for what it is worth.
  12. That is what I believe Duncan or at least scheduled for that week. The end game does indeed appear to be near.
  13. The club know how many season ticket they have sold. They also know how many match day tickets they have sold. Add the two together and you get the "match day" attendance. The turnstiles do not take into account corporate or guests but I believe they are legally required for Fire Safety reasons. Anyone know for sure?
  14. That number quoted in the original post is testament to why we find ourselves in this mess.
  15. The simple fact is though, Lowe and Wilde will not resign. The club will have to stop trading before they are forced to leave. Administration will result in everything going in a fire sale. That with the points deduction will leave us with an empty shell. In the present economic situation that may be worse than supporting the present board by turning up and paying. To many I say...be careful what you wish for!

    share price

Absolutely. "It's just a bit of fun" not life and death but some with mundane lives may not agree with that statement

    share price

Think you guys miss the point. I am talking about us doing an "Aldershot" ie going out of existence and having to start again with a new club in the regional non leagues. I really do fear that if we go into Admin. Don't wish it. You really do not understand the implications with the present unprecidented economic background.

    share price

Just a point before I climb the stairs. Perhaps protecting his investment is avoiding Administration, then stabilizing and finallly the road to recovery. Share price is not an issue unless he wants to sell his shares now. If he fails he loses everything and has to pay again to hold onto SFC. That will be a football club void of all the add ons, void of most of our better players, cash poor, points deduction to name but a few things. In this economic climate, with no prospect of making money and in a lower division who would want to take it on? I am extremely worried we will see the end of League Football in Southampton if we cannot pay our way. May be not next season but with the rot firmly set by Administration, within a few years.
  20. Not correct, I offered but he thanked me and declined. End of subject. I have nothing more to add.
  21. It was a flipant reply to UP's post. Don't read anything into it.
  22. Nah, Corp Ho was a Pompey supporter wasn't he? Assuming we are talking about Nineteen Canteen he is a Saints supporter with a season ticket, just don't ask me how I know
  23. He does not have the money to be an Investor He does not have the business experience to be a Chairman or CEO He does not have the coaching experience to be a Manager or Coach. He was a legend as a player. He is a fantastic ambassador for Southampton FC. Nothing more, nothing less.
