  1. Lets look at their stats for the clubs they are at now. John 13 starts plus 11 as sub 2 goals 2 assists Dyer 9 starts plus 3 as sub 1 goal 2 assists Rasiak 10 starts plus 8 as sub 5 goals 3 assists Hardly setting the world alight. With what they would have cost in wages you have to ask if they could have done any better than those in their positions in Saints present squad. I suggest the answer is no.
  2. It is indeed a moral issue, just like tax avoidance. There is a law out there. If companies loaning money do not comply there are many who will take advantage just like there are those who find loopholes to avoid paying their taxes. A football club or any other business going into Administration just so they can wipe the slate clean and start again meaning many who are owed money lose out. It is legal but morally wrong. Don't knock those trying to legally avoid paying. It is those who make the laws and those who are too incompetent to apply them who are at fault. From a moral point of view I find it reprehensible that someone, whether it is an individual or a company, can get away with not paying back something they owe but that is just the way I was bought up and I am lucky enough not to be in debt. I have always been able to pay as I go through life.
  3. It was not an observation
  4. Just put my postcode in, clicked streetview and can see my house, front and back jst like a good photo. I can tell the picture was taken between Sept & Dec 2008.
  5. I did not befriend Sundance Beast. I befriended Nineteen Canteen who had altogether a different style and much more polite. Anyway he has gone now. Whilst WestTender and a couple of others could engage him is sensible discussion many could not.
  6. Quite simple really. Some, including me are fed up with the bickering on this site and see no useful purpose in posting much anymore.
  7. Steve, can you put up the rest of the seasons fixtures. None on there to predict
  8. It will be a two way communication forum, nothing more, nothing less. It will have no power to act, just recommend. The power within will lay with those who hold the purse strings. The power without is with the shareholders in the public domain. If you want effective communication but understand its limitations support the "parliament". It is a useful tool but not a stick to beat the club with.
  9. Agree. I am seriously thinking of no longer posting and just becoming a reader. I already know of a few that have already made that decision. This forum is going down hill fast of late
  10. Let's put all this into context. Surman is our second highest League scorer and he is a midfielder. Surman is our top assist with 6 double anyone else. Surman is third in the club list for shots at goal. Seems he must be doing something right.
  11. I hope umpahars comes on here and apologises for getting our hopes up. That was without doubt the worse game of football I have seen all season.
  12. I expected a draw from this game but not the awful football (that might breach the trade description act) I watched today. It was dire. Nothing more to say
  13. No it is still a question of if rather than when but it is on a cotton string at present.
  14. I doubt it. You are on here or trawling the internet all the time
  15. And you will have seen my reply
  16. Quite possibily and Wotte seems to be taking the credit for appointing him.
  17. Actually the club pay him unless Lowe is dipping his hand in his pocket
  18. Because it gives Pearson unbalanced stats when he did not pick the team. Sure he was on the touchline but he did not select the players and would not have had time to set the tactics. Add them in if you like.
  19. It has nothing to do with Lowe. It is about Pearson and Wotte and their record to date. Pearson is proving his worth at Leicester and that is our loss. But he has gone and I am fed up with reading attacks on Wotte when he is making a difference, and I hoped for all Saints supporters he suceeds. Lowe made a mistake setting Pearson aside. Lowe made a mistake appointing a man clearly out of his depth to replace him. Lowe is divisive and as soon as there is someone who can come in and give us a future I want him gone. Is that clear enough?
  20. Why? It is a factual opening post.
  21. Those comments I quoted were from last week. I am not saying he does not have some responsibility I am just saying that in my opinion it is being overdone. I was not inferring anything more than that.
  22. Robbie, under are a few quotes from Wotte. "Jan was a mature and experienced Dutch coach and he took the decisions, played his game, took his decisions on the line. I was only there when he needed me. Sometimes he needed me and sometimes he didn't" "When Jan left I said OK I am willing to do it if we can change some things on the staff with Michael Svensson and Dean Gorre and I need to have a chat with the older experienced players. If you take over a situation like this it's not easy and it's never going to work if the players are against it" "I was very pleased to have the older players support the changes. I proposed 4-4-2, a defensive midfielder instead of an attacking midfielder, we got along well and it picked up to how we play now" Blaming him for his part in this mess seems to be a bit overdone.
  23. No, the decision has to do with money and "going concern" not points as far as I am aware.
  24. Your perception of clear cut perhaps. Many on here have said it was not as you saw it and the camera suggests the same. My last word on the subject.
  25. Can we call a truce please. This is getting ridiculous and totally out of order. We are supposed to be debating football and it's ancilliaries, not posters faults and personalities. Some of you are ruining this forum with your petty bickering. If I had my way I would close this thread. It is no longer serving any purpose.
