How many do you expect to turn up for the protest saturday?
Weston Saint replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
One worry about all this is that with so many Swansea fans arriving in the city I can see trouble. Police will have their work cut out -
I assume the Northam home fans area ie season ticket holders will still have their normal seats. It is just the Away area is how I read it. I put it up in case fans no on thedata base roll up for a ticket after the protest.

I suspect he was pushed into resigning with a mutually agreed payoff. No evidence, no inside information, just a feeling I think many share.

I was told recently there was never any love between Poortvliet and Wotte. It was suggested Wotte was not happy to see Poortvliet brought in above him at the time.

Euell is on the subs bench tonight

Well if the Administrator could pay off or restructure all the debts and the company was a going concern it would return to the shareholders after the Administator had taken his fat fee. That is very unlikely. So he sells the company to someone. It would not be a plc but there is nothing to stop the new owner being a plc or selling shares in the company on the open market. That would be my understanding but I have limited knowledge on the subject
-
Shares are suspended the moment an Administrator is appointed
-
Agree plc is causing us a problem but just imagine if there was no accountability and Lowe and Wilde could do what they like.....Oh they are aren't they

Why are you so bloody rude all the time!

Whatever is put into SLH by way of a loan is risky. Crouch does not have the sort of money to gamble £6m but he is prepared to risk £2m. However, quite rightly he expects the other two to take a gamble as well and they, for whatever reason, are not prepared to. To suggest that if he puts the £6m in and they will stand down is a cheap shot. They know he cannot and even if he did they still have their shares. Crouch takes all the risks. If the club sinks, well it is close to that now anyway and may be a very good reason why Lowe and Wilde do not want to gamble further. If it floats and goes on to better things they gain in any share price recovery without the risks. Some may say they should sell their shares if Crouch comes up with the £6m but to who? No one wants them. Crouch cannot buy them as it will take him past the magical 30% and leave him with nothing further to invest. He wants ALL available money to pay off the bank and try to take this club forward. Crouch cannot win. Lowe and Wilde hold all the aces at present. 9 out of 10 for trying but ours and Crouch's frustration as supporters of SFC just rolls on helplessly. I am fed up with it all. The sad thing is it is even straining good friendships built up on this forum. Let's hope the team can give us some cheer tonight.

Must have missed that statement and nothing on the LSE site. Link?

They shared the Ex Directors box last season
-
I asked for confirmation because Rod Bransgrove shared the cost of the box, he told me. I just wondered why FOS1 would suggest Lowe did not. Surely that is being impartial? Just trying to correct facts. To much political smearing without evidence from both sides.
-
You say he did not pay for his Ex Directors box? Who says so? What evidence. And I thought Pat Trant and Leon Crouch paid £35,000 to "tommac" not the £50,000 you quote, or am I missing something? PM me if you prefer

I just have the feeling it was Crouch who told this story to the Echo.
-
We knew Wilde did not have £2m, we doubted Lowe had £2m, we now know Crouch is not rich enough to risk £6m. The problem is that any money would be in the form of a loan to get the banks off our backs. lt would only have shifted the debt, admittedly with little or no interest but the problems of finance would still be haunting the club. In the event that we went into Administration such loan would fall into the unsecure creditor group. For this reason I believe it is a non story but does show Lowe and Wildes position is weakening or they were calling Crouch's bluff knowing he had a weak hand. Time will tell.

Well done UmPahars in forcing a response from the club. The power of this forum is not as weak as some think.

There is no money....that is my point!

I could write pages and pages on here about Fulthorpe/Cousins, about their plans, the money route, the investment area, the promises, but it would end with....fantasists and dreamers so I won't waste your time.

Yep over sensitive. But Frank is a good friend of mine so I might be bias

I think you are correct

I have a question. Was Mary Corbett on the board of SLH as a non executive director before Wilde pushed Lowe out? I thought not but could be wrong. I thought she was merely a shareholder who was invited on the board as part of the Wilde takeover team. Can anyone confirm I am correct and that Mary's only crime, that she has already admitted to, was that she did not carry out personal due diligence before supporting Wilde. Did not a number of other shareholders/saints fans including some posting on here do the same thing? Not supporting Mary Corbett, just want to see the correct facts published.
