An innings of 170 from batsman Jimmy Adams helped Hampshire into the final of the Second XI Trophy with a 118-run victory over Glamorgan. Adams shared an opening stand of 282 with teenage batsman Benny Howell (103), as Hampshire piled up 310-2 in their 50 overs. Glamorgan could only muster 192 all out in reply to crash to defeat.
