I think a good run of form........(oops! forgot Saints don't do that!) would generate more than 20,000 crowds.......I genuinely think the fan base is crying out for a side that CARES..........and grafts which they will need to in 3rd Division.........if they show the grit needed supporters will return.........if not......then it will be a pretty miserable place on a cold Tuesday in November!

I fear it will be some considerable time before the fat lady is clearing her throat, and the final result is or is not acheived..........as many have stated Administration encourages blatant brinksmanship, and it will either happen very quickly or be all over equally quickly should the offers not meet requirements...........I wouldn't hold your breath!!

If by some miracle , there is a new owner, then I'm afraid Wotte will have to go.........any new owner would want a totally fresh start, rightly or wrongly.......though I do admire Wotte's level of commitment to the task at present

I would imagine now the wages deadline has been resolved, that the immediate pressure is off.........and generally people get hacked off when a deadline is set and moved........means that could happen again and again........so the general misery gets strung out for longer.............and I suppose its the nature of this situation that many deals are struck at the very last minute..............so I'm afraid its a few more days if not weeks of not knowing........and frankly being unable to prepare anything for next season

the word "legend" is , in my view, used too often......MLT was definitely a "legend".....Claus?.....NAH He was a good pairing with Dean Richards beside him and latterly Svensson.........but in my view he needed a strong central defensive partner to guide him..........he was less adequate as a leader.........

Ok.... assuming the wages are paid tomorrow.......does that mean there is effectively another 4 weeks to resolve the issue before winding up becomes necessary?......Is there actually a deadline? or as long as the wages are paid can it drift for weeks unless the creditors get aggressive?.........there must surely come a point when the Administrator says to potential buyers........time is up

This is major "clutching at straws" stuff.........I would very much doubt any SERIOUS foreign bidder would not be well known to the Administrator by now.......and if it was worthy then surely would have been up there with Pinnacle at the very least...... I would imagine this will come to nothing........

To be honest, I'm not surprised at this outcome.......with the credit crunch, the most creditworthy individuals are being charged exorbitant rates for borrowing which probably would help scupper any buyer unless it was straight cash, even more unlikely..............................be interesting to see what happens to the stadium............would imagine it will be a derelict monument to all that CAN go wrong in football........interesting times!!

So if the overseas group feel to match financial expectations, then I imagine the whole thing just folds?..........pretty devastating really!

IF the club survives, IF they clear out 90% of the present wasters, IF they get a half decent manager and crop of grafters.........then I would settle for consolidation in the 3rd Division............just to avoid relegation would be an achievement for Saints........whichever league they are in its seems a scramble around the bottom is par for the course and anything better a temporary bonus!

I bet the Monday deadline is extended.......!!

Totally agree with the sentiments of the thread........its not just Saints,its the malaise that is within the whole game............frankly, I've stopped caring about football, enjoy the Champions League , but even at that level the attitude sucks
