Exclusive - Open Letter to Fans From New Owner...
instinct replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
phil connors is that con man off south park, no? -
to be fair everyone lives to their means, obviously they will have much larger mortgages / more expenisve lifestyle to maintain... but its a bit rich expecting the fans to pay their wages considereing they typically earn a lot less and have already spent thousands of the years on tickets, pies and programmes
-
They make profits because they chase up their debts
-
should keep a record of who makes up the rumours pretending to be "ITK", 2 strikes and you're banned

The 2008/9 Squad 1. Kelvin Davis - Please stay 2. Chris Perry - Very solid player, leads defence will be excellent in L1 3. Wayne Thomas - Needs to do a job for us, poor signing but when fit should be good in L1 - problem could be wages 4. Marek Saganowski - Au Revoir 5. Jan Paul Saeijs - states he wants to stay Yes but get FIT! looks very strong 6. Michael Svensson - Needs a chance to prove himself as a defensive coach 7. Rudi Skacel - Sorry to see him go but he gets badgered around so much, can't blame him 8. Bradley Wright-Phillips - If we could get him on a cheaper contract could be excellent in L1, seems about his level. 9. Gzregorz Rasiak - 1 year left on Saints contract - WHO? 10. Paul Wotton - Will be a brilliant leader in L1 11. Andrew Surman - Loves the Saints would love to keep him but is too good for L1 12. Lee Holmes - If gets fit and injury free will be a key player for us 13. Bart Bialkowski - Possible Davis replacement 14. Stern John - Shame we can't afford him, strong goalscorer 15. Jason Euell - Good player, prob too expensive 16. Romain Gasmi - Au Revoir, **** poor, awful player 17. David McGoldrick - As with BWP hopfully will find L1 is right level for him at moment and will recreate his reserves/youth scoring form 18. - 19. Morgan Schneiderlin - Passionless, not interested... get rid for a fee 20. Adam Lallana - Needs to learn to shoot, prob worth selling 21. Jamie Hatch - 22. Simon Gillett - Hopfully can keep him, committed player, tough tackler who gives his all - the type of player we need 23. Lloyd James - Would like to see him on the right of midfield 24. Oliver Lancashire - Showed some potential, still not ready yet... we need experienced defenders 25. - 26. Jake Thomson - Shows potential
-
BWP was brilliant when he came on, did more that lallana had all match, got to the byline, got crosses in... we looked a lot better when him and thomson came on
-
they didn't look up for it yesterday, where was the relegation battle fight?? have to question the passion and the manager

IF we had appointed a decent British manager after Portvliet
instinct replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
Maybe, depends who he could have bought in on loan, would have needed some good contacts Wonder what anyone could do with this team though -
Poll: Will y0u attend next season if lowe and wilde are still here?
instinct replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
I love saints and would support them whatever division they are in, grew up in northampton so used to watching lower league football (yes, im a plastic saints fan, hardly a glory hunter tho!) But not sure if I'd want to go any more whilst Lowe and Wilde are in charge, might start going to Eastleigh or Sailsbury games instead till they are gone -
http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/article.html?in_article_id=254663&in_page_id=43 nice guide to this seasons teams in league one

I'm going to the match, bringing a few mates down as well. Takes me about 2 hrs to get down to Southampton and already paid for tickets so don't want to miss the match. But will march there, and boycott all programmes, pints and food. I would also be up for staying in the concourses for the first 10 mins, this would only be effective if a lot of other people did it too.
-
another Lowe PR move to try and quieten down the fans - not going to work. I will still be there at bargate and in the concourses for the first 10 mins of the match
-
Wotte load of rubbish Lowe, Wilde, Wotte and Gore out Crouch and a decent english manager in
-

Time for some good old fashioned name dropping
instinct replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Met Le Tiss, he was friendly Met Alan Hansen on holiday when I was a kid, spoke to him and got his autograph but completley blanked Kenny Dalgleish standing next to him - didn't realise till my dad asked me if I'd got his autograph too -
Prob buy on a match to match basis next year instead of a season ticket I don't mind seeing saints lose, I've been a saints fan since I moved here 12 years ago so I'm used to seeing them lose more than win. But I won't pay to see such spineless, gutless, passionless, weak performances week in week out.
-
he does it because he can draw a paycheck from it corners will be shut, staff will be fired before that paycheck drops
-
This. Jan doesn't have a clue how to manage in the english league.
-
well I think a lot of the players this season couldn't care less... we've been completely spineless this season apart from kelvin davies gillet always puts a lot off effort in too but some of the others don't seem to care - i think we have a problem with motivation. if one of neil warnocks teams put in a gutless, passionless performance he'd definitley let them know about it and they wouldn't do it again soon... it seems like jan just says "the boysh did well, we are proud and we try make a goal soon" telling them they did well when they clearly didn't won't achieve anything and we could have played euell, wotton and wright phillips today to give us a bit of experience... how goebern gets a start ahead of bwp is beyond me, he looked totally star struck today and out of his depth in CCC games
-
Tim we hear you being very optimistic on radio hampshire every week but at the moment there isn't really much to be optimistic about we managed 3 shots on goal today, 2 of which were weak long range shots comfortably caught by van der saar we were torn open by manchester united and frequently left them unmarked - letting them win that free near post header from the corner that led to the first goal is unacceptable - we have defended poorly all season and this is mostly down to the coaches its not just against man utd we played poorly, it has been against most of our opposition this season. this is the worst, most gutless saints team with the most inept useless management I have ever seen portvlieet doesn't have a clue - he plays a stupid unproven system which clearly doesn't work in the championship and refueses to change it lowes only interest is keeping the club afloat regardless of results so he can draw his own paycheck did anyone else think it was a disgrace today the way the northam was displaced to make way for the man u fans, getting rid of the loudest saints singing section and making it like a home match for man utd. we gave them some of the best seats in the stadium... we should be shoving them into the corners, not breaking up our most vocal fans
-
Yesterday went to see brighton cobblers in brighton, they called the match off when we got there :-(
-
dyer is poor, smith is poor, our management is poor, our chairman is a ****, our defence is poor, our attack is blunt and ineffective with this squad playing these tactics we would get relagated from league one. the lower down the leagues you go the more physical the football is, and these youngsters would be bullied all over the park. if ryan smith can't even get a game at millwall what is he doing here??
-
lowe doesn't care about results as long as he can draw his pay check - if we went down that could increace as we sell any of our decent players, ticket prices will stay the same but attendence will increace if we start to win in a lower division
