So you keep saying, the manager disagrees.
-
Like Downes’ goal two seasons ago 😉
-
He’s not going to be a regular starter for us though. The long term plan is to play (hopefully) 4 at the back. We don’t need 5 senior CB’s. Stephens (captain), Quarshie (new signing) and THB (most valuable) are not going, so leaves Wood or Edwards. We’re clearly targeting big and strong players, which would give Wood the edge. Who knows, it might be a loan or it might be bullshit.
-
Wood’s been solid for me.
-
Fair enough, I could be misremembering. He’s been a disappointment so far this season, but agree would be a shame to lose that versatility. Though we do probably need to lose a CB and he doesn't seem to fit the physical profile of defender we want in the team.
-
Is that true? I thought the rave reviews he got last year from their fans were when he was playing DM.
-
I’m not having Armstrong as a winger personally, certainly not for how Still wants to use them.
-
Panic buying one of the best players in the championship? Count me in.
-
I disagree. Fraser has had injury problems in the past and isn’t playing 46 league games this season. Robinson is 18 playing his first full season of men’s football. 2 options each side is a must for me.
-
‘Winger’ singularly…? Hope not.
-
I don’t think we should be complaining about that to be fair.
-
Still think Archer is our best striker. Just got to find a way to play to his strengths (and he needs to show some interest more regularly too).
-
Scenario 3. But would leave us short in CM.
-
I had high hopes for him this season after his loan, but so far he’s looked pretty crap.
-
I agree, but he wants to leave.
-
How shifting only £50m of players means they’re good with PSR is anyone’s guess. Laughable how they still haven’t been given a deduction yet.
-
Crikey, you must have been really disappointed last year then.
-
Would suggest it’s the other way around - can’t bring in new players because we can’t shift the old ones.
-
Are you on the recruitment team?!
-
Hopefully he can analyse them quicker then he can make decisions on the football pitch.
-
It won’t happen because he wants a move to a premier league club and an extortionate signing on fee.
-
No chance he’s coming back, regardless if we go up.
-
Do you genuinely think Ramsdale is ever going to play for us again?
-
I didn’t think we would, but it’s still deflating when it pans into reality. I think it’s made worse by the “here’s what you could have won” we got to witness on Saturday
