  1. Chance Card - Its Mothers Day! You treat your sister to one she'll never forget. Pay £50.
  2. Community Chest - Maradona and Riquelme sign for your club. Collect £1 million in Barbie Dollars from merchandise profits.
  3. Some of the celebrations on that video are mental! You'd probably get booked for time-wasting over here. Hoping Lee turns out to be the next Pahars for us, not scoring the goals to keep us up instead scoring the goals to send us up.
  4. We are yet to play at Leeds, Boro and Blackpool, a home match with Reading that will be very hard, as well as a visit from Ipswich who are more than capable of producing an upset. I'd be delighted to stay unbeaten till the end, but let's take it one game at a time eh.
  5. But for the last 10 of the first half and first 10 of the second half that's probably the most dominant a display I've seen from us at St Mary's this season. Lallana was different class today, KD made a quality save to keep it at 1-0, and Lee's goal lifted the roof off the ground, stunning strike! Feeling much more optimistic about our promotion chances with our team back to strength now.
  6. Shame this didn't happen a month ago so the administrators could have sold off their players and left them a bunch of kids and lower league players to choose from.
  7. Met and had a photo taken with Ray Winstone leaving Wembley after the first England game against Brazil. Was a nice guy but I couldn't muster up the courage to ask him "where's your tool?".
  8. 27228 of us turned up at St Mary's when our admin was announced back in 09. Only 14330 at Fratton tonight. Joke club, best fans my ass.
  9. Would have taken that before the game so can't complain too much. We have no one to fear from now till the end of season.
  10. Should have asked him why he didn't rate Lallana before, hence him considering his future at the club.
  11. Good to see an ex-saint score the equaliser for 'Pool, makes up a bit for ****y Nugent the other week.
  12. Class performances all round today, well chuffed with the result! Good to have the Hoover back again, Sharp and Lambert partnership looks promising, can't wait to see the 2nd goal again, couldn't work out what happened from the Northam. Result was all down to the strength of our team, not the fact it was a 3pm kick off as 7 of our league wins haven't been.
  13. No sub keeper, wow. Has Nige been reading the forum!? Strongest team for weeks, no excuses now, we should beat most teams with that line-up.
  14. League position matters not, we weren't in the Prem when any of the last 3 gigs went ahead anyhoo, and besides the Ricoh Arena in Coventry regulary have bands playing there. I think the reason we don't have many is we're geographically very close to London and its not a particularly big catchment area for a concert. I went to both Bon Jovi gigs at SMS, both very well organised and it was nice to be able to walk home from a big show as opposed to a 2 hour train/car journey.

Thanks for the advice, shall certainly give that book a try. Thought there was no hope for me, even a proper pair of running shoes never solved the problem, didn't give much though to my technique.

    Adkins

Whilst I've been growing frustrated with his cliché filled post match reactions of late, the thought of changing manager is just pure moronic. We're 2nd in the bloody league and have had some really **** luck recently. What if Davis hadn't been injured against Blackpool, what if our goal that crossed the line at Brighton but didn't get given had been, what if Lambert didn't react to El-Abd's tackle and get a 3 match ban, what if the ref against Cardiff didn't bottle it and instead gave us the 2 penalties that he should have. We're just not getting the luck lately but need to stick together through adversity and remember where we've come from in such a short space of time.
  17. Hmmmm, could imagine those 12 lucky jury members receiving a nice padded brown envelope shaped surprise through their letterbox tonight Like others have said it'd be just that twitchy ****ers luck to be found not guilty, Capello to quit over the Terry saga, and twitchy to take the England job part time alongside the Spurs job for the Euros, then take it on full time.
  18. Oh really, ok my bad. Think I got mixed up with Sunday league rules where you do get 7 day bans.
  19. Not sure it's as simple as that, always thought 2 yellows was a 7 day ban which might be why Radio Solent were confused.

Wish I could run some of the distances people on here have mentioned, unfortunately shin splints and various other niggles leave me too sore to do so. If I do football training midweek I'm in too much pain to play on a Sunday, only 26 too which is a bit ****. Do a bit of gym work during the week, normally about 3 times a week, plus Sunday league footy on top of that so am fairly fit. Used to do boxfit classes in Titchfield which was by far some of the most intense fitness I've done, the guy who runs it was a proper skate though.
  21. My mates mum was in Readers Wives and them sorts of mags during the 90's. As a pubescent teen it would have been great ****ing material but for the fact she is pig ugly.
  22. I believe 3rd from bottom on the red stripe is Neil Moss. Think the one under Tessem is Kevin Davies.
  23. FFS Rickie SHOOT!!!
  24. Good half, think we've been much the better side, just need to create some chances.
