Went and saw Muse Saturday as well for what was my 5th time too and once again they failed to disappoint! Still undecided as to whether I preferred this or the Wembley show in 2007. Their charity gig for TCT back in April 08 at the Albert Hall was probably my favourite performance of theirs I've been to. The Radio 1 Killers gig at the Albert Hall was also immense,as was the one the following July which was filmed for their DVD. That really is an incredible venue. I went to that Warchild gig at Shepherds bush Empire that they did with Coldplay at that was pretty special. The encore of Chris Martin singing Back For Good with Gary Barlow followed by the performance of All These Things That I've Done with Coldplay, The Killers, G.B. And Bono was slightly surreal. Foo Fighters at Wembley in 08 was an awesome show, went to the Saturday which meant I got to see the collaboration with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones which was a special moment. Likewise Green Day at the same place this summer, jeez do they know how to put on a good show. They were on for just under 3 hours and I've never seen a band get the crowd that involved with a concert. They did a good 10 song back to back run of some of their old catalogue (which I prefer as I liked GD before American Idiot was released) in the middle of the show, as well as a medley of songs by the likes of G n R, AC/DC and The Beatles. Got people from the crowd up to sing with them, fired t-shirts into the crowd with a massive bazooka thing, just really got the crowd involved.

Glenn Hoddle started his Managerial reign of us with a win,2-1 against West Ham, but yeah I'd love this to work in our favour against MK.
-
Even more annoying that they're better than us at singing it!

Would that be the same Sir Clive who led his team to victory in a World Cup final whilst wearing a White kit?

Are we likely to get an announcement as to who is ultimately responsible for ownership of the club? I know we are to assume the Liebherr family own it, but wouldn't that have meant they'd have had to of gone through a fit and proper test with the football league as technically Markus' passing would have made them new owners?

Ahhh I see, thought we'd banned everyone from taking pictures.
-
The funny thing about this is there's actually photos from last night on the Swindon website, likewise on the Plymouth, Leyton Orient, and Bolton website all contain professional photos from our games at St Mary's. Does that mean other clubs have accepted the photographer ban and are actually paying us for the use of them? The Bournemouth site looks like they've had a couple of photographers hidden in the Chapel and Away Stand with bog standard digital cameras.

I've Said who my source is, and that's one hell of a story for me to have just 'made up', like I'd have a reason to anyway.

Further correction. The section behind the goal is seated, not a terrace. Looking forward to this one, can't be as bad as last seasons trip up there....can it?

If thats what you choose to believe then fair enough. We'll find out for sure when the team for Saturday is named. Let me assure you though Martin was dropped last night not rested, and the excuse given to him was,and I quote "its too high profile a game for you to play in". Considering he played against Bolton last week I ask you to play make of that what you will.
-
Yes. And @kpturner, you're right I missed the point you were making, hence my edited post.

We'll see against Rochdale yeah. I do genuinely hope I'm wrong.

Let me assure you I have a strong link to the family. AM was told by everyone he was best trainer during preseason, and AP told him by the end of the season he wanted him to be a first choice centre-back. A couple of weeks later though NC told AP that he was to pick his strongest 11 from the off as he expected a winning start which meant Jaidi came in to partner Fonte. Then the Leyton Orient game rolls round and AP tells AM that he is going to be on the bench for the game, but on Saturday it's Seaborne who takes his place,a decision even Seaborne is baffled by. AP takes AM to one side and tells him he is going to have to send him out on loan for reasons he can't say. Following the poor performace by Jaidi against Orient AP takes the gamble to bring Martin in against Bolton,a gamble that pays off and he continues to remain in the squad against Bristol Rovers at the expense of Jaidi, but Fonte comes out a couple of days later and says what a good partnership it is turning into and singing AM's praises. Then suddenly despite the ptretty much same team being picked tonight following AP's sacking AM is dropped from the first 11,in fact he's not even on the bench. Don't you find that a bit odd? I don't normally like ITK posters, and refrained from posting any of this info in recent weeks, but after AP's sacking it makes it clearer to me that sole responsibilty for picking the team isn't being completely decided by the manager. Whether you choose to believe any of this is up to you.
-
Martins. NC saw AP picking him as an act of defience.
-
I can tell you for a fact that if Pardew had still been in charge Aaron Martin would have been in the starting 11 tonight. Let's just say his face doesn't fit with Cortese.

This. I remember it being West Ham as Dodd talks about it on the Season Review DVD as all the players were aware of him being there.
-
Strachan took over the following month, its against West Ham he was spotted in the stands.

Just checked if there are any Kingsland tickets on the online and there appears to be plenty of them, i'd give them a call if I were you.

Yeah my bad,got my wires crossed. As he went on holiday with my brother and mates who did go to primary school with CD I assumed he was their age but he was in a different year. Both he and CD were taught by my ex's mum but in different years, Glenn was friends with my ex as a kid. He has definitely auditioned twice before though and failed to get past the boot camp. Can't remember the name of his previous band, pretty sure the other one from Southampton they were up against the second time round were called 4tune.
-
I'll only be happy with Zola if Steve Clarke comes too
-
My brother knows the second one, Glen Vine, as does my ex's mum from teaching him at primary school. He was in the same class as Craig David whom she also taught obviously. Hasn't been noticed in the papers yet but he has auditioned for the show twice before in a different band, even going up against another Southampton band the 2nd time.

Nobody mentioned it previously because it's bull****. There's no way a high-profile name like that would be able to attend a football stadium on a matchday without being seen by a lot of people. Not that I wouldn't mind him coming here though! If it's not him or Stuart Pearce I'll be disappointed.

Watching us lift a trophy at Wembley was one of the best days of my life, even if it was only the JPT. Rembering how good that day out was makes me think **** it, let's go for it again this year. It's the only trophy we have a realistic chance of winning for a while.
