Watched A couple of films this weekend, firstly Hangover Part II, which even though its just a rehash of the first one, was still enjoyable. Put me off ever going to Bangkok though, what a ****hole! Hopefully they'll leave it at that now though, anymore in the series and it will go downhill very quickly! X-Men: First Class I thought was errrr first class! Admittedly i'm a bit of a comic book geek so it was always going to appeal to me, but I thought the script and storyline were very well done, and setting it slap bang in the middle of the Cuban missile crisis was inspired. Some great performances throughout, and felt quite proud that a large part of the crew hailed from Britain, particularly Nicholas Hoult who has come a long way from the loner kid in About A Boy. Some rather fine looking women in it too which was most welcome.

Yeah the Skates tried to hijack the votes at the time as one of the designs was a god awful rip off of the old AS Monaco kit that Hoddle wore when he was there. Think thats what it was meant to be anyhoo. One of the other designs was the red quarters shirt similar to the one that they would later wear in the friendly with Brighton to send off The Dell.

Would have to disagree with that, the 01-03 home kit that we voted on was class. Proper red and white stripes with no ugly panels and the like.

Really hoping he isn't going to be the pitch announcer next season, almost as annoying as Stewart Dennis. Enjoyed today, was good to see some old faces again, shame the game faded towards the end. Guly's goal was top drawer, would have loved to have seen it in a league game. Idiakez was quality in the centre of the pitch in the first half, surprised he isn't playing for a league 1 or 2 team still. Top save from Niemi from Lallana too, hoping the club release some highlights online at some point.

Sounds like your average moronic football fan that can't see Lambert is being asked to play in a different role to last season. Happy with the result yesterday, although the performance was poor at times it was never going to be easy. Got the impression from many people around me that they expected Bristol to rollover and die for us when it was clearly never going to happen as they're fighting for their lives. Hard to pick a MOM, perhaps Dickson, did well getting forward but I do miss the overlapping we're used to seeing with Harding and Lallana. Guly continues to frustrate, he flashes from pure class to poor so often you can only imagine how good he'd be if he showed more consistency. Wasn't too impressed with Forte, while i've now doubt he's fast he didn't do much on the wings. Very unlucky not to score from the cross which he headed down into the ground and it hit the bar, seemed he had to much time to think about where he was going to place it. Foolish of him to try and catch the ball when it clearly hadn't gone out of play for a throw. Glad some of the others on here could see that too, some really OTT neanderthaloid **** being shouted at Massey when she flagged it, when she was only following the letter of the law. Shame to see Barney go off, he'll be missed if he is out till the end of season, although it'd be fairytale stuff for the forgotten man Connolly to come back in and make himself a hero.
