Just got back, enjoyable game to watch at times. We bossed the first half, some of our passing was a real joy to watch, had a great spell of about 30 consecutive passes that we came close to scoring from. Took the foot off the gas 2nd half and nearly let them back into it which was disappointing. Honourable mention to Lee Holmes, had a good game tonight, would like to see him try and force his way into the first team, there's no doubt he's a gifted player but the poor bloke keeps getting injured.

Hate to do an MLG but Tuesday is the anniversary I was gutted at the time, but as others have said it worked out for the best. Would always applaud him if he returns with an opposing team though, helped build the foundations of our recent success.

He struggles in his usual position, be criminal to move him into the middle.

Just seen the highlights,third goal was criminal, even a Sunday league ref would have given a freekick for the push. Steve Cotterill really is one pikey looking ****. Talk about a match made in heaven.

Likewise, been going to Andys since I couldn't even see over the counter, was a shame when Andy passed away. For portion sizes Big Georges in St Denys/Portswood Road always give good value for money.

Perhaps it is the Charlton game I'm thinking of then. That Leeds game was refereed by Peter Walton, by far and wide the worst display by an official I've ever seen at St Marys!

Genuinely lost for words, all i'm normally used to as a Saints fan is disappointment! 5 goals away from home at one of the promotion favourites is incredible, I know it won't last forever but i'm going to enjoy this ride whilst it does! Credit to ML, NC, NA and all the players for making this a proud club again.

Anyone remember the overhead kick Danny Higginbotham scored against the Skates in the 2-1 FA Cup win? (crouch, last minute penalty). Amazing goal, just as good as Delaps but hit across the goal into the far corner only for the Lino to judge Kenwyne was offside and interfering with play. Can't find footage of it anywhere!
