  1. Doesn't quite work like that, there's never any correlation from one season to the next,it's just random. I'm predicting away to Swindon or home to Leyton Orient.
  2. I agree with this,it's becoming clear the guy is just as corrupt as the clowns who have run that club in recent years. Somebody posted a photo on this thread from about 10 years ago showing AA in the directors box at Fratton alongside Mandaric etc... If I were the Inland Revenue I'd be keen to use that as evidence against the guy for not being quite as impartial as he should be.
  3. The only living living creature I've hit so far is a ****ed up 14 year old chav girl in Mansbridge a few years ago. Her and her mates were doing knock door run or something and whilst they all decided to run off down the pavement she thought it a better idea to run in front of my car and thus end up in my windscreen. Luckily she escaped with just a broken leg and a broken nose.
  4. Oceana are doing something for the England games with big projector screens and the like. Its a shame Hotshots has gone, was immense in 2004 and 2006,cheap beer too.
  5. They were very impressive in the Confederations Cup last year,I honestly think our game against them will be a lot tougher than people think.
  6. Took a dump in the home changing room toilets before the forum game last week, and wondered if Matty,Sir Rickie or even Becks had ever graced the same porcelain throne.
  7. People don't want to open a new credit account just for the season ticket, that's totally understandable IMO. The installment plans in recent years were done similar to car insurance ones as Stockport Saint says, and did not go on your credit record.
  8. Disappointed there's no installment plan this season, but I'm sure I'll find the money somehow. FWIW last season was the first where the installment plan was done interest-free,prior to that it was run by a finance company called Football Credit who charged interest on tickets bought with an 8 month plan,so the club weren't giving people free credit.
  9. I hope we don't sell him, but if he does move on I have every faith in Pardew finding a decent replacement.
  10. Whilst we only lost 1-0 in the away game the game was very conclusive, they were all over us from start to finish and how the scoreline remained so low I don't know. That still remains one of the most embarassing and abject away performances I've seen from us and I intend on going back for a bit of revenge next season hopefully. I just hope the bigger team vultures pick at some of their decent players this summer.
  11. More important then most things, why the **** would someone as minted as AS have a stag do in Southampton?
  12. Ironically I threw my studs away the night before as they'd gone mouldy from sitting unwashed in my boot bag since the winter and I couldn't be arsed to clean them. I'm out of footy for the next few weeks now Mike, might have to stick Jase in goal.
  13. Fair play for finishing 3rd,can't really argue with the final result, that volley by Rose was exceptional given the circumstances,McCourts' was a nice cross between Messi and Marsden.
  14. All the best with that Steve, made my hospital trip this morning after waking up and finding my ankle resembled a tree trunk. Just a bad sprain luckily, nursed blamed it on wearing blades.
  15. The leadership qualities of winning captain Influenced were so impressive those on the sidelines felt obliged to salute him too.
  16. Fantastic game, nice to be on the winning side this year! Heartbreaking that I came off injured so early in the second half, don't think I'll be wearing blades again! Spades or influenced for man of the match I think.
  17. The collar on that Bilbao shirt is awful, almost Harry Hill-esque! Hope our new shirt doesn't have one.
  18. Agreed, the sicknote thing was disappointing. How we could have done with a fully fit Pahars during the Prem relegation season. Shame he never got his head right. WGS infamously said Marian was the only person he knew that could catch a computer virus. Pretty much sums it up.
  19. If there's one thing that winds me up more than being called scummers by the skates,it's being called scummers by anyone else. I ****ing hope we hammer them at SMS next season, see if they release a DVD of that!
  20. I remember him so fondly for being the little guy from a country hardly anyone had heard of at the time, not being able to speak a word of English, not evening owning his own pair of boots, but scoring 3 truly priceless goals that kept us in the Premiership in the 98/99 season. Fantastic skill, great speed, and scorer of some truly fantastic goals whilst here, against Derby and Wimbledon at the Dell stick in my mind. Fair enough he was a sicknote towards the end of his time here, and he was mentally unable to recover from injuries that he was physically able to but his goal and celebration against the skates cements him as a bit of a modern day legend for me,and I expect many who are quick to slate him never even saw him play.
  21. The play off game at Derby, going from tears of joy as Rasiak scored to tears of sadness as we lost the penalties. Slumped back in my seat with the feeling that the club was going to go downhill from there which unfortunately happened. Crouch vs the skates, Pahars vs the skates. Camara against Norwich, felt emotionally drained after that game, still remains my favourite game I've been to at SMS. When Danny Wallace bought the match ball out before the Bolton game in the 03/04 season. Don't think anyone knew he was going to do so and it was sad to see him struggling like he did. The final whistle at Villa Park in the 03 semi final and then during abide with me at the subsequent final. Watching Kelvin and Deano lift the JPT at wembley.
  22. Students playing pub golf. Drivers not indicating. Megan Fox not being in Transformers 3. Play.com not delivering my copy of Red Dead Redemption.
  23. Can you not get Muse tickets for the 11th instead? They announced the support for the UK tour yesterday,Lily Allen is supporting on the 10th with Biffy Clyro and White Lies on the 11th.
