Getting on has been so easy lately I forgot there were even issues not so long ago. Reckon you’ve cracked it Steve or are you still looking for the root cause?

I might just be over thinking it - but assuming the club have got millions of pounds of supporters money now, what is the likely hood that it’s all being held in an account earning interest for the club. Are there accounts in the world where that money could be earning decent interest and if so is that part of the reason for a complete unnecessary delay refunding?

Never got around to buying a shirt before they got pulled from sale but I’ve just had a look on the store, it’s cheaper to buy the LD sports version made by under armour than it is the pikey own brand one which looks like it came from eBay. They’re both crap sponsors so makes sense to buy an UA one surely.

Glad I didn’t renew, what an absolute farce this whole Saints Promise has turned into. There’s absolutely no reason to make people wait up to 2 weeks for a refund, not in this day and age, but then our ticket office has always been a bit of a joke so it’s no surprise. Why couldn’t they have taken a validation amount of 99p off the card fans want to use for the season and then just bill them pro-rata for every game as and when they can open, not the other way around. Saints Promise my arse.

That’ll do - get the monkey off our backs and hopefully build from it. No stand out performers, Djenepo poor and Armstrong was a let down not playing potentially goal scoring passes on a few occasions.
-
Djenepo is so Jekyll and Hyde, just seemed scared to take anyone on tonight

🤣 I’m bamboozled as to how our bench can be so shit.
-
Traditionally Dyche has got it in him to make a sub and change the system which bamboozles Ralph - perhaps we should do it first.
-
Decent save that!
-
Fuck off Dyche you prick

I’m certainly missing it that’s for sure, probably over 20 years since I was away from live footy for this long. Probably going to go and watch sholing tomorrow to help fill the void.
-
Home banker - comfortable 2-0. Our back 4 won’t have the fight needed against a dogged Burnley side.

Appreciate the point you’re trying to make but your post is a bit of a contradiction. Opening with calling people bed wetters due to their opinion of Ralph you then try and stick up for him on aspects of our game that is entirely his fault. Members of the squad not being fit or up to speed is down to how he coached them during the close season, we were meticulous during lockdown and returned fitter than most teams in the league, so why didn’t it happen again this time? The high line doesn’t work with unfit players, especially ones as average as ours. Again the buck stops with Ralph on that one, what was wrong with the way we’re playing post lockdown when we pressed players and caught them on the break? Why change it!? Failures to mark Kane and Son again come from the coaching staff, we all know the threat they carry so why not play a man marking game today instead of pissing about with the high line? I don’t want to lose Ralph that’s the last thing we need, but the man is culpable for displays like today, After all this time we still don’t have an identity with the way we play.

There was a full “A team vs B team” match at St Mary’s which was never reported, but I’m not sure that really counts as a competitive friendly.
-
Are we rewriting history again? Peak Clyne was far far better than KWP is, that’s why a team like Liverpool came in for him. Wouldn’t be able to say how good a fit Clyne would be - probably still better than Valery though.
-
Just seems that all the effort we went through during lockdown making sure the players had all the equipment they needed to stay super fit was not repeated during the close season. We saw photos of the players relaxing on their holidays and it doesn’t take long for fitness to go backwards so it’s a mystery we there weren’t more friendlies as per of a more intense preseason. Did they watch us smash Swansea and think that we were up to speed and didn’t need any more games?
-
Shambolic. Simple as that. Not bed wetting just yet, but the Palace result I could take, first game, opponent sat back, wasn’t surprised at all. But that performance tonight, with pretty much a full strength line up against championship opponents? Fuming.

His weetabix legs were always going to go wrong at some point this season, I can’t believe it’s happened in the first game - didn’t even make it to HT!! Wonder if Brighton were savvy enough to put an injury clause into his contract.
-
44 minutes - nivea boy injured already
-
If he has another season like last then he’ll be gone next summer, regardless of whether he signs a new contract or not. We know how this end so let’s not stress about it just accept it!
-
Loving the comments from Spurs fans on Twitter about Hoj, it seems the penny has dropped and we truly weren’t being bitter when we said they were welcome to him 🤣
-
Weird stat, where did you hear that? It’s been 7 seasons without a first day win not 8, and we had a worse run from 99-00 until the 2011-12 season

I used to think that JWP was too lightweight but Smallbone takes it to another level. Whilst MLG is right in what he says about being way above League One level in terms of ability, he needs to go out on loan purely to get the experience of fight and physicality. We can’t afford any passengers in this league, teams will wipe the floor with us otherwise.

What happened to the Romeu we saw in the post lockdown games last season, he looked like a player reborn. Today he looked like the usual Romeu!

Great - enter the donkey.
