Still enjoying what is a great season and great Saints team - we've just been very unfortunate with injuries. Top ten and a good cup run will do me

The good posters no longer post here and you can see why...

Shit - maybe I do! Who was the poster that always signed off with a bold orange quote? John B Rabbit? -

DAVID FROM SWEDEN -
I bet he ends up at Everton.
-
Why not? Several key players have just signed new deals with at least one more on the way. Diallo looks a great player. Ralph superb. Cheer up FFS.
-
Best get that suicide note written lad. Cya π

This can't be right. Burnley's new American overlords said that the Southampton academy has been "destroyed"? You must be seeing things.
-
Disappointed we didn't win it so that tells you something about how the season is going. Really should have won that.
-
Sounds like the blue entrance was slacker than the purple one in that case. I won't be picked for another game for months anyway so won't have to deal with this issue for a bit!
-
Didn't have ours checked and didn't see anyone else getting their IDs out either. I was keeping an eye out for a mate who shares a season ticket.
-
Just seen on my ticket that I have turn up at 10:45... Bit different to my usual trick of getting to my seat s few seconds before kick off! Best have a big breakfast..
-
Just had a call to say I'd been successful in the ballot following the return of some tickets. Result Tickets showed up in my account right away. Looking forward to it - weather looks shite mind!

Fortunately you don't get to decide what is or isn't offensive to a demographic different to your own.

I should have just taken your word as gospel Turkish. You are the oracle of all things. Not a contrarian, trollish ballbag at all.
-
Cool - thanks. I am convinced. Millwall fans are all top-lads.
-
Ah a Millwall fansite blog post based on a rag of a newspaper. Wonderful stuff
-
Have you got a link to this article or do we have to take your word for it.

Not the best performance but I still enjoyed the game. Tactical battle. Love the pen drama βΊοΈ (it was never a pen! π)

If we all decided to change the gesture I dunno...standing on one leg for 30 seconds, and the phrase to "All Lives are totally equal" - I wonder what people would do to twist the messaging around again? Or would they accept it for what it is?
-
That's excellent - and I'm sure many would agree with you RE the Black Lives Matter political organisation - but for the thousandth time, saying "Black Lives Matter" and taking the knee are NOT the same as supporting the Black Lives Matter political organisation - you get that, right? Also - to respond to your earlier post, if you boo the taking of the knee at St Marys I hope the club take a dim view and chuck you out π
-
And you have nothing worth while add beyond picking at an anecdotal remark made in my otherwise bulletproof, entirely sane and brilliantly written post. Glad we agree and can move on with our lives.
-
Yes well done, boil my whole argument down to the fact that I've been to the den once. It's obviously beyond you to have a reasoned argument. All you do it point-score and dodge the meat of any topic. You would make an excellent politician.
-
I've been to the den - it's not what i'd call a diverse crowd.
-
Any evidence to the contrary?

What is it about my post you don't agree with / not understand? Maybe I shouldn't have dropped the C-bomb - but the idea that our society is still swelling with people that cannot bare to see causes furthered that don't benefit themselves directly is absolutely maddening. We're talking about an anti-racist action that was booed by a bunch of football fans. How that can be twisted into "The lads from Millwall are upset by the use of our beautiful game to further political ideas" is plainly bollocks. All I see are a bunch of white blokes who are so wrapped up in their own lives (not necessarily their fault) that they cannot see that by just being a white bloke they are afforded, often subconsciously, a life and the opportunities that come with it that a black or ethnic minority background person just does not get. That is what this is about. Just because bananas don't get chucked at footballers anymore doesn't mean there aren't societal issues that still need sorting to level the playing field for everyone, regardless of background.
