  1. He picked Koeman who was arguably our most successful premier league manager ever. And then he picked CP, who had a bang average premier league season. And then hes picked MP, who has been ****e. So on the whole, in terms of managers, not the worst record, but not the best. I'd hate to work for you, and people like you, by the way. 1 under performing year at work and that would be it, out the door! Jobless! No future! A year would be generous, actually, if we put our fanbase in charge of an organisation.
  2. I haven't seen any realistic or good replacement suggestions so I don't see the point in sacking the bloke just to appease our mongo fanbase.
  3. It's apathy for a lot of fans I think. People care less about modern football. Five years ago I would have been up in arms like a lot of people on here and at the stadium, but last night I just stood there numb to what was happening in front of me. The premier league is a money spinning competition for the elite and the rest of us just go along to watch dross designed not to compete but to stay up.
  4. Confirmed: Bertrand and Cedric both out. ****.
  5. Finishing 7th, 6th and 8th since the above left is really "losing our way" you're right. Berk.
  6. Exactly, our bland but very nice stadium was an absolute bargain compared to the cost of doing the same or similar today.
  7. Not in my dreams, in block 39 every home game. The **** people come out with is unbelievable, so I am not surprised in the slightest at the ineptitude contained in that letter to the "Gaos".
  8. This is the sort of **** I imagine coming from the majority of bedwetters on here. Utterly cringe worthy.
  9. How did it go then melts? Did you wave your social media flag and make a bit of a stir? Good for you, really, I mean it, well done all, fantastic stuff, you should be proud.
  10. You're making far too much sense for this forum mate don't waste your time. The mongs want a scapegoat for their frustrations no matter what.
  11. In. Who are we going to get that will turn this group of average players playing to the high expectations of our bunch of wet-***** supporters? No one. Managers aren't magicians, they have to work with the tools at their disposal, and our tools are ****.
  12. It would be the same outcome if we were to sack MoPo. We would attract another manager who has barely any record of success.
  13. Anyone actually calling for the managers head at this point is ****ing deluded. He has been in the job for only a couple of months and we sit firmly in mid-table. Yea the football is a bit dull but FFS, give the guy a break. Are the people calling for the managers head the same sort that are unable to satisfy their partners? "Sorry love I just wanted to blow my load immediately!" :******:
  14. Second game this season I'm having to miss due to poxy weddings, the other being West Ham. So you can be sure we will win in an exciting game!
  15. I can't believe how impatient so many of our fans are. Yea the football is dross but its not panic stations is it. Our fans are pathetic. The booing of Forster, Redmond and VVD at the weekend goes further to prove that our fans are pathetic. Bunch of self entitled, impatient, millennial instant gratification demanding cluster-****s.
  16. Oops. Those extra 2 goals just make everything fine and dandy!
  17. I am a season ticket holder that has missed one home game in 2017, West Ham at home in August. That means I have seen Saints score 4 goals at home in 2017. Four. Goals. All. ****ing. Year. Yeah, it's fair to say that i'm losing interest.
  18. Signed it but I agree with the points raised above about it probably making no difference. We stand up from block 2 round to block 38 anyway, and they aren't going to squeeze more of us in as we will still be allocated a spot to stand in. The stadium steps weren't designed to be stood on (not deep enough). This will never happen unfortunately.

    Redmond

He is being scapgoated for sure. He was doing plenty of good stuff in the second half against Utd which went ignored, but every time he didn't beat his man or didn't control a difficult pass everyone around me instantly shouts "HES A CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYER!" "CHAMPIONSHIP". ****ing melts.
  20. Cool, so what we need is more people acting childish and being antisocial and then we can return to our amazing standards of yesteryear where the banter was off the chain and people all over the stadium were getting really "hostile" and swearing a lot at the opposition fans. Wey hey. Banter. Lads lads lads lads lads lads lads lads.
  21. I agree with many of the points raised in this thread, however I don't have a problem with anyone attending a match turning up at SMS and supporting the team in the way they see fit and are comfortable with. However, the difference in atmosphere from our first season back in the prem to now is startling. So many factors as people have already pointed out, from the dross football the last 14 months to the tremendous churn in players to the change in demographic of our base (which I actually think is being overstated by people on here in all honesty, the crowd in block 39 where I sit is broadly the same as 5 years ago, its just impossible to get yourself up for it when the display is almost always utterly boring).
  22. Wait...I would get £750 back wouldn't I. I did say I don't bet often!
  23. Yea, 1/2 on Betfair to stay with us. I bet about once a year, but if we trust the club then surely I can turn £500 into £1000, right?
  24. They beat Newcastle and Palace. Calm down.
