I genuinely like Ralph and think he's a good manager. That being said I don't think anyone outside of this football club would be shocked at him getting the boot now. He's lost 7 in 8 and had two record defeats. It's fucking embarrassing being a Saints fan at the moment, absolutely awful.

Next season? We lose on Saturday and Fulham win they are only five points behind us. Can't see us winning another match the way we are playing at the moment. Something needs to change and fast.

This is largely how I feel about football. The glass ceiling is damn near impenetrable these days. Somehow Leicester have managed to punch through it once, and are now doing it again. I'm 32 and I do ask myself why I should bother with (hopefully) 45-50 years more trips to SMS to watch a team that has no hope of actually winning anything other than the odd scrap against the "big boys". These conversations ultimately always come up when we go on a piss poor run. And I always fall head over heals in love with it all again when we go on a good run. Fickle as fuck.

What's ridiculous? We've never lost 6 games in a row in our history, he's overseen two record defeats and clearly has no plan at all for when the game doesn't go for us. It's absolutely awful to watch and we're in free fall.

Being both is the best way to be! Loving both helps when you only get one or the other. Driving to a loss and driving home again is absolute misery. Going to a loss and getting smashed afterwards, not bad. Winning and getting pissed...well...

Having had time to sleep on it.. we scored two excellent goals and were unfortunate not to get a third. We did however look totally out of ideas when trying to break down their two banks of four when they went down to 9 men. I'm not going to talk about the defending.. just hope it improves, and fast.

What possible good would a Europa League campaign do our very thin squad? If we win the FA Cup I'm sure I, like most, couldn't give a toss about qualifying for Europe, it will be only the second thing we've ever won and we'll all be in beer comas for months. Wolves need to get back into form so who better to help them out than Saints? We seem to love putting an end to opposing team's dodgy runs and records.

Flabbergasted at how wrong this season has gone after such a strong run up to Xmas. Stunning. That performance was pathetic.

My first memory of him was in the FA Cup game vs Manure when we were in the Championship. We lost 4-0. He gave them a pen for handball when it hit David McGoldrick's armpit. He's been absolute wank in every single game i've seen him ref for us since. He is a hateful, egotistical little cunt of a man. A chicken farming, attention seeking slug.

Can't believe we've done it again. So fucking ashamed. We are complete embarrassment. Surely Ralph will walk now. Don't blame him.

First time for a while I'm not exactly looking forward to watching the game - even though we've played alright the last few weeks we are losing games and not scoring, which is just bloody frustrating when you think about it! We'll come good and go on a nice little run and end up in the top ten I reckon' - but I don't think that run will start this evening. Bit your hand off for a point!

Between villas blocks and horrendous officials I don't think I've ever seen a more unjust loss for Saints than that.

As much as it was a pen, I'm not blaming us losing on anyhting other than our ineptness at getting the ball in and around the box and getting shots on target. If we could just do that we'd be winning games. 80 odd percent possession first half no shot on target. Villa look more dangerous than we do and they've barely seen the ball FFS.
