  1. Big chat from a mate of mine who goes posh at every game. Reckons he and his box friends have got 6 tickets reserved for the match already. Spose money talks... Us lowly season ticket holders will have to queue up when the time comes.
  2. This. To say he looks out of his depth is utterly ludicrous. But for a bit of luck in front of goal he looks more than good enough to play in the premier league on the evidence I have seen so far. I'm confident he will come good.
  3. I also have a spare available. Face value £30. Post your email if you want it and I'll get in touch.
  4. Don't "need" to be boozed up before a match, but like many my group makes a day of around half of the home games each season. Much better than getting excited about your favourite parking space and leaving 5 minutes early "to beat the traffic".
  5. The "real world" that applies to your specific circumstances. There are lots of people this will make no difference to or will even be better for.
  6. Friday games are great, extends the weekend a bit, good chance for a booze up and more time on Saturday / Sunday to spend with the family. Win win in my eyes.
  7. So run down warehouses that sell beer are ok but containers that sell beer are not ok. Ok cool got it.
  8. For "weirdos" read: classic saints web language for anyone that goes to the game with their family, Mrs or dares to wear a replica shirt.
  9. It's a good initiative for the club providing somewhere else for fans to meet before the game. What on earth is there to complain about here? You spoilt ****.
  10. Anything would have been a step up on Carlsberg so I see this as excellent news.
  11. Am I missing something? Burnley finished 7th, we finished 17th. It is one of the harder games surely.
  12. My stomach is still in knots! So much relief. Will be glad when the game is over on Sunday and we can look forward to the World Cup
  13. Yep.
  14. Anymore than £450 and I'll sack it off.
  15. I would rather eat **** than spend the day on public transport with a bunch of face paint red wig toting bellends on a trip to see us get pounded at the echo chamber that is Wembley stadium. I'm sure once the result comes in and we have been beat by 3 or 4 goals I will regret my decision and wish I was in the throng of people unable to get out of West London, though.
  16. Enjoy your day out mate! I hope you enjoy seeing us get pumped while the world watches on via their pay TV subscription.
  17. This, apart from the bit about me going, because I am not. Someone else can have my reserved seat, I couldn't care less. And this is coming from someone who saw us lose at Rochdale, Carlisle and Tranmere in the good old days. There have been plenty of posts on here in the last year or two around the increasing apathy from many supporters towards the modern game due to the way it is run. I probably won't bother going to another game this season.
  18. I'm not putting myself through the usual Wembley travel-apocalypse for this shower of a team. They can **** right off. ****s.
  19. I go to hardly any away games and only bothered with Watford at home in the Cup so far this season....but I am a season ticket holder so I will be getting a ticket no probs. UP YOURS MEMBERINOS! (plz dnt kill me thx xx)
  20. Mark Wotte Ricardo Fuller Ryan Doble Lloyd James Romain Gasmi
  21. I'm hoping we stay up for all of the obvious reasons, but for me personally I want us to stay up so that when I don't renew my ST for the first time since 2005 (bar a gap for uni) I don't get called a fair-weather ****. I just don't enjoy watching us win 4 games at home in 12 calendar months for £1000. It's an outrageous waste of money.
  22. Lost to one of the best front lines in Europe and a load of you are throwing in the towel. If we play like we did last week VS WBA against the next five teams we are due to face, we will be in with a chance of winning the majority of them.
  23. Seriously though, what would an 'app' give you that the mobile website does not? Many, many mobile apps are just wrapped up versions of a vendors mobile site.
  24. You pay your "hard earned" to gain entry to the games so you can support the team in front of you. Sounds like you won't be coming next year when we end up in the Championship, given your attitude. Not saying you are wrong about the mismanagement, cuz' you're not. Moaning about paying for something as risky and random as football though? Nah.
