Fair play to KD, he has seemingly stuck out for as long as possible to stay with us and i hope he does, same goes for the manager.

So what about Saga? Think he was saying that he was not prepared to play in the 1st Div, so why is he still around? As far as i am concerned i can get lost, as for Euell being on holiday, what does that say?

TBF Rasiak has come back from a loan that we sent him on and has got on with it, no doubting he can score goals and hopefully Stern john will get a deal too, with those 2 up front then we really do have a chance especially if you stick someone young and hungry on their heels (Paterson maybe?).

The point being, I hope that those who have come out supporting us get the rewards and those who are here because basically no one else wnats them can get fooked.

Manager is the first go to be honest... or the Swiss have seriously misread the fan base.

Saga - love to keep. But bottom line is there are few mature players who are likely to be impresed with playing for Wotte in League 1 so he's off.

Rasiak - Love to keep but definately ditto above given Wotte was part of the central staff at SMS who sent him away.

Euell - will be good and might stay as Wotte was allowed to play him.

John - god I hope so but ditto Rasiak I suspect.

We so need to buy some men. We can't rebuild this club however until we lose the orange one... unless the Swiss have ALOT of cash, in which case they can bail out the loyal tactical disaster himself.

So what other option could Jones/Tointon take? Wotte had a contract up until 31st. a new manager would of had a couple of days with this squad and you think they would of been different results?

Where was the money coming from to pay the new manager?

The second half was academy youngsters.

Don't get me wrong I am one of his biggest critics and don't believe for one minute he is what we need for the future ..but at the present we have no other option. Accept that and for petes sake dont post it on every thread you seem obsessed as that other nutjob.

I'm really hoping that Wright-Phillips doesn't stay. The fact we will be playing at a lower level does not change the fact that his touch is appalling.

Gods your getting as obsessive about Wotte as StRichmond is about Lord Lowe's evil plan to take over the planet!

Well once they make a decision I'll stick with it. Decision is about to be made so important to express the majority view for our new owners.

If we dont sack him (or give him far more £s than most managers may require to build a team) then I cant help but think our new Swiss owners will not back us in League 2.

Anyway its not just me - I'm just posting more than useual as I have a couple of weeks off! :)

We drew twice in pre-season friendlies against good pub teams!

Gota disagree with you im afraid Robbie. Yes we drew against lesser opposition. But the idea of early pre-season friendlies is to get players involved in games, getting match fit. Not going all out for a result. Its about getting players back into the swing of things with a light friendly game against local opposition. The result is irrelevant.

If come August the 8th we draw 2-2 by conceding 2 late goals, then il start asking questions... for now, who cares? The lads have had a run out (some teams have only had 2 days of pre-season so far), the fans have seen their club play against an up and coming local team, and in the most part have enjoyed a nice relaxing evening with friends and family watching the team the love.

Wotte, if he stays we will not progress any further, it will be the same old same old.

1 up front ***** all goals, get rid of the old guard and start afresh, harsh but this is needed. 2-2 with TOTTON. FFS

Agreed as much as Woote is slightly better than poortaloo, he is still part of a failed management team, this club needs a fresh start and he is just a reminder of Lowes failure

sorry but I vote Wotte out, but wish him well

The most important thing is get a good manager in, and not let sentiment get in the way. Wotte has been very professional away from the dug-out (aside for his peck at the fans on Lowes behest) But as a manager he is fookin pants.

We drew 2-2 in a pre-season friendly! ARGH!!! NOOOO!!!!! WOTTE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have yet to see anything of Wotte which would suggest he is capable of running a succesful League 1 campaign. ARGH!!! NOOOO!!!!! WOTTE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc.

To answer the OP:

If any of Rasiak, Saga, Davis or John honnestly WANTED to be here, I'd be delighted to keep any of them.

Euell and BWP can p*ss off. I'd also be pretty pleased if Fulham did offer good money for Schneiderlin.

I think some people take these games TOO seriously. They are pre-season friendlies not Wembley Cup Finals. Trial games.

With most of our established players gone, there are scarcely half a dozen who even played regularly last season.

The second half seems to have been the Academy lads, many of whom have never worn a first team shirt ....!

I firmly expect a LOT more experience to be available by the time we play the AJAX game.

I really think we place too much emphasis on practice games.

Some have said our tactics looked OK and we had good shots that went wide. At least they are learning to create chances, which sounds OK as many of them had probably never played on the same pitch together before.

There's a long way to go before MW (or anyone else has to pick a real team.)
