Tractor_Saint Posted 15 September, 2009 Share Posted 15 September, 2009 OK - bear with me - I've got four season tickets (me, the g/f and my two kids). The two kids haven't been to a SFC game yet and my daughter is 7 on Saturday so we're taking her to her first game as a ST holder as a treat (no comment please Dell Days) She's really looking forward to it (and hopefully she'll be in the programme announcements thingy!) Anyhow, our friends who have two kids as well wanted to come and celebrate the bday so I booked four tickets online for them. Unfortunately the online booking system isn't the best in the world and you can't choose your seat numbers. I did find out though that I could reserve 4 tickets in Kingsland where I didn't want them and when I tried to reserve a further 4 tickets those 2nd lot were right next to my seats so were perfect. I couldn't remove the first 4 tickets on the site so decided to test it out by ordering 6 x Under 8's with an adult (so FOC) and then 2 x adults at £22 hence getting 4 x seats that I wanted and 4 x seats that I didn't. Thinking that the system would throw up a problem I promptly ordered all 8 tickets for £44. Got home this evening and amazed to find all 8 tickets are here..... So, should I fess up or just turn up and increase the gate by 4 non-starters? If you're still reading, suggest a beer might be in order before the re-read ? krissyboy31 Posted 15 September, 2009 Share Posted 15 September, 2009 If I was in your position I would email David Luker and arrange for the other 4 (presuming you have no more takers) to be sent back to allow them to re-sale the seats.

Yeah, just in case it's a sell-out.
krissyboy31 Posted 15 September, 2009 Share Posted 15 September, 2009 Yeah, just in case it's a sell-out. I didn't mean that but the seats might be in one of the more popular areas of the ground where seats are at a premium (Northam, Itchen North, Blocks 34 and 35 of the Kingsland). trousers Posted 16 September, 2009 Share Posted 16 September, 2009 (edited) I still don't understand the scenario... You bought 4 more tickets than you need. Given you paid for them why feel guilty whether you use them or not? The club has got it's money for the tickets and the 4 unused seats will not exactly stick out like a sore thumb amongst the other 15,000 unused seats. I still think it's Dusty Bin though Edited 16 September, 2009 by trousers
