70's Mike Posted 28 September, 2009 Share Posted 28 September, 2009 Great memories of trips to Eastville. Train across country, lots of beer, which helped drown sorrows as we normally lost. Always a bit "hairy" around Temple Meads on way home.

eurosaint Posted 28 September, 2009 Share Posted 28 September, 2009 I reckon that we owe them one for that horrendous cup defeat on the telly last year ! COYS
krissyboy31 Posted 28 September, 2009 Share Posted 28 September, 2009 (edited) Jimmy Redpath spraying SFC on the pillars beneath the M32 flyover which almost cut across one corner of the ground. The flyover is of course still there but the ground (apart from the floodlight pylons) long been turned into IKEA!! diggers Posted 28 September, 2009 Share Posted 28 September, 2009 (edited) a lad on one of our coaches to Rovers got done by the OB for ****ing in their car park, the funny thing was that it was the third time he'd been unlucky enough to be pulled by the OB for ****ing in public and the Magistrates ordered him to have psychiatric assessments. I'd never embarrass anyone enough to mention names so don't worry Boiley your past is safe with me! BTW don't ever remember getting to Eastville before kick off (well on the pitch at least ) Edited 28 September, 2009 by diggers forgot to close bracket

Rovers have great away support, as a proportion of their average home gates they are rated the best in England. For the Div 4 (League 2) play off final they sold over 35000 tickets.
