niceandfriendly Posted 3 January, 2010 Share Posted 3 January, 2010 After hearing a rather dull rendition of "Adam Lallana, clap clap clap clap clap" yesterday, I thought it's about time he had a proper song. I saw this one suggested on here a little while ago. I think Man Utd fans used to sing it for Ronaldo but everyone steals OWTS so f*ck 'em. Viva Lallana Viva Lallana Running down the wing Hear Southampton sing Viva Lallana repeat until fade, to this tune

Saint Posted 3 January, 2010 Share Posted 3 January, 2010 Heard that on Saturday, and yeh it sounded a bit crap. Would to hear the Viva Lallana ringing around though, the Ronaldo one sounded great.
John Cool Posted 3 January, 2010 Share Posted 3 January, 2010 I'd like to hear this Motown classic but I think it's probably a bit too difficult to sing after 4 pints of Stella.

team-saint Posted 3 January, 2010 Share Posted 3 January, 2010 Most of our fans are too thick to learn the words. mucky.fingers Posted 3 January, 2010 Share Posted 3 January, 2010 This is great. We MUST sing this. With this and the Lambert song we would actually have two decent player songs.
CitySaint Posted 3 January, 2010 Share Posted 3 January, 2010 Good Song, always thought the sound of it was great ringing round Old Trafford when they sung it, but didn't really know the words. We can get away with it as they don't sing it any more, should get an airing on Saturday.

Viva Lallana Viva Lallana Running down the wing Hear Southampton sing Viva Lallana repeat until fade, to this tune You have no chance of getting that going, and the Reuben Agboola tune that's been used at some away games is easier and better anyway (as is La Cucaracha, for that matter). There are a couple of Papa Waigo songs better than Annoying Offside Song, Generic Dexter Blackstock/Saganowski Tune #1, or Generic Winter Wonderland Tune #2, but no-one ever sings them either. MorningtonCrescent Posted 6 January, 2010 Share Posted 6 January, 2010 I quite like the new suggestion, but the plebs at the back of the Northam won't/can't catch on to new tunes for songs and so we are stuck with the plain old "Adam Lallana, clap clap clap clap clap".... boring! The away song we sing for Ads is the easiest (some would think simple would catch on, even with the Northam dwellers!)...... if they can't get it, then they won't get Viva Lallana either! We'll stick with the away song, I reckon. One day it'll catch on! (the Ruben Agboola song of old!)

richardc Posted 6 January, 2010 Share Posted 6 January, 2010 one of my biggest disappointments going to st Marys is the lack of songs for our players - I remember at the Dell singing songs for most of the players before kick off and them waving to the crowd - admittedly over the last few seasons we have not had many players worth singing about but I think it would add so much to the spirit of the club if we could reengage with the players again - Surely now we have got our club back that Lallana is worth a song and the Viva Lallana is by far the best one - are there any song starters on here that could get it going on Sat
