Good news, IMO.

Cannot see any reason why he should not want to stay - at the moment and possibly could handle the CCC. However, if the far reaching plans for Saints happen in the timescales wanted, I cannot see him being a Prem keeper and that will define where he is in circa 4 years time. For Saints he's a good option as even if he does not stay long term, he will fetch a good transfer fee when the time is right.

Good news if true, looked close to getting back to the player we know he can be last year, when deputising for Davis. I can see him taking the No:-1 place from Davis in the next year or so! Good back up at the moment.

Bialkowski is still young and he's shown in the past that he definitely has ability.

 

Maybe in a year or two, if he continues to work hard, then he might end up being our first choice 'keeper? Who knows?

 

Still, hopefully he does sign, otherwise we'd only have Tommy Forecast as cover and that is far from ideal!

But I am a bit bored now roll on July 1st when everything starts properly. (Start of transfer window and players are officially released and able to sign)

On the Echo site the comments section to this story have been debating Portuguese reports (a website was quoted) which state that Bart is signing for Braga, who have apparently lost their keeper. Report says something like.. 'the former Southampton player'.

 

Dan Kerins has posted on Echo board to say Echo quotes are deffo direct from Bart that he intends to stay with us. Hope so...
