Can any of you outside supporters tell me if there is a way to here the commentary at least? i am in Dagenham, which is the worst place I have ever worked, I can tell you. Any help greatfully recieved.

I think it's gone down actually; I re-signed on Friday last and it was £3.99, not bad at all, especially for the full 90s

Liquidshokk Posted 27 November, 2010 Share Posted 27 November, 2010 Just seen that radio Solent is now listed as 96.1 on the tunein website. Does this mean it will actually broadcast the game now?? Surely 96.1 fm is 96.1 fm is 96.1 fm??? Has anyone tried it lately? / can anyone try it today?

They repeatedly said that the FA cup games are available for free unlike League ! matches where you needed to subscribe to Saints Player. I shall be tuning in, via internet, this afternoon at 3pm. Yeah I remember someone mentioned this before round one game. I'm more talking about league games as I can't see tunein playing something other than league games on matchdays if they are playing 96.1.... It appears tunein doesn't just stream the free online bbc solent content but actually broadcasts the fm channel... If noone knows I'll download it and try it for next league game.... Saint_clark Posted 27 November, 2010 Share Posted 27 November, 2010 No, you cannot get league matches anywhere on the internet other than Saintsplayer or the player of the opposing team. Unless we're on TV, in which case there'd be loads.

Do you get an out-of-pocket allowance if you are on a transfer? As an overseas supporter I suppose I should get Saints Player, but I'm tight and spend enough on matches when I visit the UK plus teaching English in Italy is _not_ well paid. You'd think they'd allow radio broadcasts free just to maintain and encourage interest, but it seems it's all about milking the fans..

You'd think they'd allow radio broadcasts free just to maintain and encourage interest, but it seems it's all about milking the fans.. I've had a beef about Internet comentary for ages. They want to charge us for a BBC service that most of us have paid for in our licence fee for a start. If they provided a dedicated service that was superior to the free BBC service I would be more inclined to pay for it. But people accept saints robbing the BBC commentary, screwing it up and then charging for it. I wonder if people would accept a charge for BBC 1 if saints slapped a badge on it? david in sweden Posted 27 November, 2010 Share Posted 27 November, 2010 Sometimes Internet is banned. Same problem with Radio 5 for Champions League I think. which is precisely why fans like myself get totally ScrE*ed. We can't get BBC feeds and Sloent are only allowed to broadcast in their own area.!
