JRM Posted 1 October, 2008 Share Posted 1 October, 2008 We should do this for Coventry at home on a Tuesday night at the end of the month..... with a couple more wins and a promotional offer it could be just the push people need to start going again, and once in the habit of doing so it might help us push back up towards 18k

If a season ticket was £230.00 for the season for an adult then year go with those prices but its £400.00 so whats the benefit to the season ticket holder? I'm at Uni in Sheffield so thats all good ! Although one big problem is that I'm meant to be seeing Oasis in Bournemouth on the same night. Think ebay may be an idea... Wes Tender Posted 2 October, 2008 Share Posted 2 October, 2008 Well done Sheffield United's board for showing some imagination to try and increase numbers on a weekday match. It's just a pity that our board are so heavy with people from Accountancy or Financial backgrounds, who don't have any appreciation of concepts like these. JRM Posted 2 October, 2008 Share Posted 2 October, 2008 i was commenting on the guy who said Saints should do it for the Coventry game  to be honest mate, as a season ticket holder, i think i'd rather walk into the coventry game buzzing with a big crowd and a loud atmosphere than be greated by the sight of another half empty ground. Would imagine most are the same rather than look at other fans with resentment for getting in a bit cheaper than i did !

Would imagine most are the same rather than look at other fans with resentment for getting in a bit cheaper than i did ! Have to agree. It is pretty depressing looking round a near empty ground. Debating whether to go to sheffield or not. Main issue could be getting someone to go with.
