JRM Posted 7 January, 2011 Share Posted 7 January, 2011 technically that is true, the station is closed, but that does not mean you cannot get there, normal trains are running to parkway / eastleigh with bus replacements from there, so it is business as usual just allow a bit longer for your journey. It's showing as operating on thewebsite: http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/en/s/timetable/details?id=1&return=false&callingPage=t I think it's only partial closures to some services and this website is supposed to be up to date. Aren't they working on the tunnel?

Aren't they working on the tunnel? Gave them a call earlier and was told there would be a bus service replacing the train. On that basis i'm out. But it wouldn't surprise me if he's talking out his a::se. Not worth the hassle though. I only opt to train it so i can have a few extra beers anyway. Even better, mate, it said "trains from Parkway to the ground." Didn't it? Did I dream that?
