trousers Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Stephen O'Halloran? do not remember that one at all! I remember the loan but I've got a feeling we never played him and Villa understandably got a bit narked so recalled him....?

thesaint sfc Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Reading up on Hajto is quite interesting - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomasz_Hajto I thought he was a pretty solid defender - would take him back now, although he only just did it in the Championship. Didn't hear about his manslaughter charge either!
Saint Stimp Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 I'd say at least half of those signings were pretty decent. Bart for 50k stands out.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 I'd say at least half of those signings were pretty decent. Bart for 50k stands out. And Barny @c.£125K sounds incredible TBH.

thesaint sfc Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Quashie was our best midfielder by a long shot when we went down, so I'm not sure where you're coming from there.
Brussels Saint Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 2 initial thoughts: 1, Did we really pay 2.5m for David Prutton (blimey!) 2, Why did Chris Marsden join a club in South Korea?
Berkshire Saint Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Quashie was pretty decent for us, don't see what's so funny about that signing. Bit of a knob by all accounts though. He seemed to think he was a play-maker when we got relegated, started taking penalties, free kicks and corners which was a little odd! Olivier Bernard was probably the worst signing of that window (if Davenport had played more, would probably be him), although I'm pretty sure he was a free transfer. thesaint sfc Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Bernard was sh*ie, but it was still worth signing him for when Robert twa*ted him.

shurlock Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 JPS and his non-too-blatant penalty shoves- best signing of the lot (at least, pre-new regime)
Saint_lambden Posted 10 January, 2011 Share Posted 10 January, 2011 Liptak played more as a striker than a defender!
