Dr Who? Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 It amazes me how quickly Saints reports appear on here after a defeat, but when we win, nothing for ages. Do you think this could go hand in hand with the negative vibe from this forum? I think more positives need to come from the top. You will note that the Pardew sacking was on the main news page for months, and the Walsall away defeat appeared within 2 hours of losing. Now here we are after an away win and nearly 48 hours since the game ended and still no report on the game. I could go on to point out more but I cannot be bothered really. The forum just needs to take a good look at it's self. We are right up there and we are not playing that well. We will start playing well and get that 2nd place. Hopefully a win at Bournemouth to go above them. COYS!!!
Liquidshokk Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 Its the rough ride along the way to getting where we are that has taken the shine off being in a playoff position. Ultimately though, we are in a rather smashing position The media as a rule arent interested in the positives....
Dig Dig Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 (edited) People just seem to revel in defeat more than they do with a win. Not sure that's it's just this place but the post match comments tend to go on for 7-8 pages after a defeat rather than 3-4 for a win. And by revelling in the defeat, they do often reveal quite a bit about themselves!

SNSUN Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 I taught myself years ago to lower my expectations and be happier with positive outcomes. As a result I'm in a terrible relationship, doing a job I loathe, with little discernible social life of note, supporting a god forsaken terrible third rate football team and wishing death would hurry the **** up! I'm joking of course, the more worth the wait something is, the better the journey. We'll be top flight material again one day, looking back to these League One years and laughing. hypochondriac Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 I think it is more a perception that this place is negative. Much of the time posters have preconceived ideas that someone is 'negative' and so will see negativity in their posts even when the points they have made are not negative at all. John B Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 . Hopefully a win at Bournemouth to go above them. COYS!!! So what happens if we dont get a win surely people are going to be upset. The so called negative posters are not negative because most likely they believed the hype that SFC were going to walk this league and are disappointed when things go wrong. I still think we will go up but with all the investment and PR from the club I feel we will have have been let down by the club if this does not happen
