Well that was brilliant - and when we look back at the end of the season this could be a pivotal moment.

That said it got me thinking........what other amazing comebacks have we had I mean we have been on the back end of a few but what ones stick out on your mind?

Norwich I seem to remember was epic.

Yours?

Yeh that comeback is definately up there in one of the games I've been to the time I've been watching Saints and yeh the Norwich one is also up there for me aswell and yeh am also agreeing that win could make or break whether we go up coming 2nd which I really hope we do or to go up via the Play Offs which would also be Good, although I don't particularly fancy playing Peterborough in the Play Off Final if we get there but we will see!

COYR :D!!

Norwich in the JPT was a memorable night.

I know people joke about DVDs, but when we do go up I would definitely buy a DVD of this season. For that game and other games like B'Mouth away and Oldham 6-0.

Saints v Newcastle in 1995 (?)

We were 0-1 down with about 87 minutes gone when Neil Heaney came on. Turned the game around and we ended up winning 3-1.

Of course, all the people that only had tickets for 85 minutes had gone and missed the best bit....

Colchester at home earlier this season. We never actually went behind but they had some good periods of the game and we were on the back foot for a good 10 minutes mid-way through the second half. We managed to hold on though for an impressive 0-0 draw after regaining our composure in the last 15 minutes or so.

This one for me, especially as I was right behind the Archers Road goal that night!

Preston away wasn't bad either with DMG getting a last minute winner after we'd been 2 down at half time.

About 15 years ago, 3-0 down against Liverpool at The Dell with 15 mins left to play - got it back to 3-3 in injury time - pretty sure was a midweek game.

Edit: Just checked - was 26th August 2000 - nobody left the ground early that night!!

Definitely the Newcastle come back. The players thought they had won the cup. Keegan ( Newcastle manager at the time ) was seething. Driving back to Brum after game radio Solent were replaying the commentary of the goals and the poor bloke was screaming like a banshee and by the time the third goal went in he had lost his voice. Classic.

I still can't believe they didn't produce a season review dvd for 09/10.

I seem to recall a game back in the Prem. Fulham at home, we went 2-0 down.

If I remember correctly, Beattie scored a hat-trick and we went on to win 4-2.

Great game!

I saved the day - true story.

Got caught in a huge traffic jam, and my pre match beers at the Pub where I was going to watch the match here in Dubai, were missed and I arrived about 20 mins into the game only to see the score 0-2 on the top right hand corner of the screens - bad day just got worse - get the beer in - the rest is all history - todays was a million times more stressful for sure!!!

This one for me, Pahars jumping onto the wall in front of the Archers Rd and just screaming at us awesome game

Defo one of my favourite games. Absolutely tore them a new one and that was the catalyst on our march up to 4th... I know someone else on this board will remember but our performances actually went wobbly straight after a contention 2-2 v Boro away after leading 2-0. Still, we played some great stuff that year...

Was at the Boro game and knew it would end in tears the minute the Saints fans started to sing it's just like watching Brazil!!!!! Granted we were totally outclassing Boro, but having been a Saints fan for 30+ years I always thought it was a tad premature and somewhat asking for trouble. Sure enough a very late, and dubious penalty, meant it would end in tears.

Anyway, twas a good day out and that Tuxedo Royale/Princess or whatever it was called has to be one of the best pre match boozers I have been in.

That fulham game was great

went with mate & his boy ( poss his 1st ever game ) mate decided to get the beers in after about 30 mins took offence to my reaction of saints are gonna score before half time the boy said I want to stay with paul

half time 2-2? mate couldn't work out what all the noise was

that same season we came back to draw 2-2 at fulham with niemi's acrobatics 2-0 down doddsey passed back to top corner but antti lept up controlled ball on chest to clear then in final secs deflected a corner on to killer to equalise
