The death of a furry friend mixed with the dissapointment in your mum for not feeling you were old enough to take the news is more than any eight year old should have to deal with at one time. Wasn't it rumoured that Sammy was the product of a wild drunken night out in Southampton where Super managed to pull a top glamour model.
