Jeff Stelling's just referred to our Molyneux, ex-Everton starting for us today, first start etc. blah blah. But then was talking about him having played for Forest Green and having been at Oxford previously, which is the right-back Lee Molyneaux who is a free agent. Have we got the right one? :smt044

I seem to recall some slightly strange wording on the OS article announcing the signing of Molyneaux. It read something like 'the ex-Everton player' which of course was true but not normally the turn of phrase you'd use in that scenario. Can't find the article on the OS now though. Maybe he did go somewhere between Everton and us?

Not often that Jeff Stelling slips us. Always impressed by him on Sky - very eloquent and articulate and never lost for words - a class act. But I was listening to him tonight when he was in a phone conversation with a studio and he was dreadful -a constant stream of "you knows" and "I mean" and lots of stumbling. Don't know how he is so different on Saturdays unless it is due to prompts via PC and earpiece.

Probably done to purposely differentiate him from the other one.

However, it failed.

Probably because he was released by Everton.

According to the Everton website he was on a week to week contract until we signed him. So I guess they released him on a free to join us.
