I read some of the waffle on this forum and realised that the country was in dire need of more rationale people.

Let’s assume I did, which I’m not saying is the reason. Your logic would be flawed and you have made a terrible point.

I would have gone to another country invited, passed through border control, integrated myself into local society and culture and paid tax. Completely different. I find it disrespectful that people come here and dont integrate into Uk culture because I’ve have out of respect to the relevant host countries. I didn’t create my own little England when I went there, which some people do when they come here from other countries. What you have completely failed to understand is people don’t have a problem with people that take this approach when coming to the Uk. People have issue with people that don’t do this. No wonder you have the views of people like me that you do as you have misunderstood the concerns

Let me ask - do you think that people should integrate into Uk culture and society when they come here from abroad?

Do you not find it strange that at the same time rapists and murderers are let out early and some cases take six years to go to trial because the prisons are full…

Yet Danny thommo’s case can be heard in under 24hrs?

I would say that there is a single ideologically dominant framework that now controls the civil service, academia, judiciary, BBC, and NGOs etc.

And I would say, as someone who works for an arms-length government body, that this is complete and utter bollocks. EVERYTHING we do has to be 100% transparent, legally defensible, and free from any political or ideological influence.

For you to make such a sweeping generalisation, based on nothing more than your own paranoia and your need to feel like the victim of a political injustice, makes you look frankly ridiculous.

And this makes you look even more ridiculous. Only last week you were trying to claim you have a higher IQ than most on this forum. Yet here you are parroting something that is so batshit absurd that I don't even know where to begin.

I would ask you to provide some evidence to support your claim, but I know you'll just ignore that and give this post a laughing emoji instead, so I won't bother.

Quick few from last night:

1. Did you manage to get numbers for those protests as a first step, as otherwise the stats you posted hold absolutely no merit?

2. Can you please post the Home Affair Select Committee link for me to read?

3. I'm interested as to where you emigrated to - where and why did you move? And why did you return?

I can't be any clearer when I say I'm not joining your wider discussion. I may consider it once you've linked me to your evidence that Judges (not the system, the people) are politicised, but I can't see why I would waste my time joining another discussion in which you'll you throw around your uncorroborated opinion.

You mean like the majority of British ex pats who choose to live around other ex pats, drinking in English bars, eating a full English, and who's local language knowledge extends no further than ordering a beer and a full English.

I'd hazard a guess (and it is that, granted) that more immigrants here grasp our language much better than than our economic emigrants do in their destination of choice.

Taking a couple of examples,  academia and the bbc have a high proportion of people with left wing political views. It’s the nature of people they attract. On the face of it they aren’t “politically” influenced but the people running them have their own political views which influence the approach those institutions take.

Govenrment reviews on the bbc have indicated that there is a lack of impartiality due to “uninformed groupthink”

In terms of having a disproportionate number of left wingers, you gov surveys of academics have indicated that circa 53% are left leaning, 35% are neutral and 9% are conservative. Policy exchange research has come to the same conclusions.

Academia does tend to be more left-wingers, because left-wingers tend to be more intelligent than right-wingers. That's just a thing, and again, always has been.

1. I’ve told you there aren’t comparable figures for attending the protests. It means there could have been more at either. It doesn’t invalidate it (it may in your mind cause your looking for any chink) as I have given alternative measures for assessing the level of crime / violence at each compared to arrests which is a better barometer.

2. The report is the police response to the 2024 summer disorder - google it. I’ve taken stats from that. The conclusions of the report  are no two tier policing but the vast majority of evidence that informed the conclusion is from the same police chiefs under fire so I question the independence of that conclusion and whether it actually tested the conduct of the very organisation being accused of two tier policing. A closed shop if you ask me. They weren’t even asked why the arrests were so high in the illegal migrant protests but lower for the blm protests for example. Real scrutiny!

3. I’m not going to get into this but I didn’t leave because plod was after me!

You can’t pick and choose when the kitchen gets hot. I lived far from Europe. Funny you wouldnt generalise in demeaning terms about an illegal migrant but you would an English person in Spain. There’s a name for that. Have a good day changing your mind

The difference is that the bloke who delivers my takeaway here can speak more English than the average ex pat can speak Spanish. That's the point.

The word to describe that is "fact", not anything you were thinking.

What alternative measure are you talking about that you've used?

Interested as to why you won't get into why you moved abroad and then back.

So if you want to be demeaning towards a group of people (I’m not saying they shouldn’t integrate by the way) it’s ok because they are all like that and it’s a “fact” in your eyes. The arrogance and double standards astound. If I characterised all Indians living in the uk in specific way and said it was a fact you would have something to say. I suspect it’s because you look at uk residents in Spain with a degree of dismissiveness and an air of superiority . Anyway you don’t enter into debate with me so this isn’t happening

Some stats @Sir Ralph

BLM protests - 210k

Immmigrant protests - Difficult, but just one in London was said to have attracted 500k by Together Alliance, so likelihood is this will run well into the millions.

There are figures for the blm protests but nothing accurate about the illegal migrant protests. Those figures are complete hearsay and “running into the millions” is pure speculation. If I presented that you would laugh me out the room. There were over 13 times more arrests at the illegal migrant protests than blm so you would need to find a stat which supports an incredibly high number of attendees at the illegal migrant protests to bring the arrest levels on par

You make some valid points, but public services by their very nature are obviously going to attract a higher number of people with left-leaning views, so it's surely not surprising to anyone and that's a far cry from claiming that the entire public sector is controlled by left wing ideology.

But you weaken your argument significantly here by citing the conclusions of an opaquely funded Tufton Street lobby group on the subject of left wing political bias in public institutions. The suggestion that their findings are in any way unbiased is laughable. It would be like appointing three Skate fans to the panel investigating Tonda's involvement in Spygate and expecting them to deliver an objective and balanced verdict.

Again, can you post where you got your arrest numbers from as I can't find anything that is even close to your numbers.

I'm looking for the immigration protest numbers or are you talking the 2024 riots where nearly 400 police officers were injured?

Comparisons here from a right wing news outlet quoting right wing politicians, and they still say that the BLM protests and anti-immigration riots can't be compared:

https://news.sky.com/story/uk-riots-what-does-two-tier-policing-mean-and-does-it-exist-13191977

This is really interesting as well, and outlines why one was seen as protests and one was seen as rioting:
