Ok point accepted alternatively I could just refer to the report into anti semitism in the Labour Party. If we take labours failures on this, if the case being made is that we go by the lowest common denominator nobody should vote for Labour or reform or the Green Party

I think people shouldn't vote for the Greens TBH, as this happened under Polanski's watch. Same with Reform, as this has all happened under Farage. That report was about the Labour party under Corbyn, so yes I don't think people should have voted for Corbyn's Labour party if they knew about that. I think most people would support that.

So who you going to vote for now Reform are off the table?

The difference is that whilst within the Labour there have been a minority of people exhibiting anti-semitic views, and action is taken against them, one of the driving principles and attractions of Reform is, ( putting it mildly ), antipathy towards immigrants, and there is a large, and growing, body of evidence that many Reform Councillors and candidates, and their fanbase, are outright racists.

I can admit if I understood a news article incorrectly. The irony of you trying to call me out. Have you answers to my seven or so questions yet that you still haven’t answered?

I think a lot of people are attracted by their stance on illegal immigration (which isn’t racist). There is a faction of people that vote reform that may be racist as there are / have been with Labour and the Greens in relation to Jews. However, I’m not aware of policies / strategy from reform to encourage or promote racism. As I understand it the relevant people in the documentary have been suspended so I’m unclear how Reform are encouraging racism.  What do you think they should do?

It would be interesting if these tv channels went undercover into the Labour and Green Party to see what they find

Whataboutery at its finest.

Not really. People are saying that reform are horrendously racist and people shouldn’t vote for them. I’m saying that many political parties have or have had such issues and therefore, applying that logic, nobody should vote for any of them. Therefore people shouldn’t determine a party by its lowest common denominator. I appreciate that’s a two step argument so maybe put it into ChatGPT if you are struggling to understand

I think you're struggling to show equivalency and it is whataboutery. And dressing it up as that's your motto.

Reform/Restore - many accounts of being c**ts. Other parties fewer accounts = as bad as each other.

Oh look Nick Clegg had a few bad eggs in the BNP. Let's use the lowest denominator to say they're ok.

When does xenophobia cross into racism?

The inference Farage was msking by exploiting this image of people fleeing civil war is obvious. And he could not avoid the similiatity to this Naxi propaganda film

"In October 2025, YouGov found that 47% of Britons considered Reform UK generally racist, while 43% said the same of its voters."

I’m not the one alleging that reform is more racist. I said they all have / have had their issues. Why is reform more racist other than your perception? Any statistics to back that up?

Also people are saying that reform voters are racist. When Labour had its anti semitism issues were people that voted for them racist? Can you answer that question?

Under Corbyn there is an argument for that, sure, that people would vote for them with the idea that they're anti-Semitic. Not sure that would happen now, as they'll be lost to the Greens.

I have a really simple couple of questions.

Do you believe that Reform has a higher proportion of racists both within the party, and voting for them, than Labour did anti-Semites under Corbyn?

Do you believe that Labour still has a large proportion of anti-Semites within the party?

Do you believe that Nigel Farage is racist?

Where have I said Reform is racist?

Read the post and not try to play the poster.

Christ almighty - did anyone just hear Richard Tice on LBC. Reform policies to "stimulate the economy" include:

- MOTs to 4 years for Brand new cars, to save businesses money (not taking into account that MOT centres would lose money - they hadn't thought of that).

- Allowing businesses to use imperial measurements if they want.

These are their policies for stimulating the economy.

Wow.

The positive thing is that rather than muttering in the shadows because they think they have minority views, these people are now showing us who they really are, in the real world, and on forums.

And the second positive is that they don't even realise, they are still in the minority.

Fantastic news. This paves the way for me to fill me car up in "drams" rather than those pesky litres. Vive La revolution!

I'm going to start paying for stuff in groats.

That's groats, not goats. I already do the latter.

Remember my dad having an allotment.

The size of the plot was one rod which was 5.5 yards square.

I think that a lot of allotments are still measured in rods.

Also known as the Pole or Perch.

40 square rods is a Rood, which is a quarter of an acre.

Badge

Dont forget about the Chain (Gunter's Chain) which is equivalent to 4 rods, 22 yards, 66 feet or 20.12 metres.
10 Chains make a furlong and 80 Chains make a statute mile.
An area of 10 square chains = 1 acre

22 yards, also known as a cricket pitch.

And an acre is a furlong by a chain being the area that a ploughman's would be expected to till in one day a furlong, or one furrowlong, and a chain being the length needed to turn a plough.
